Marion County 4-H Livestock Club member, Braxton Thomas, unexpectedly lost his mother, Brittany Rife, earlier this month. In order to support Braxton's endeavors from secondary education to sports to showing dairy cows, Marion County 4-H Livestock Club has worked with Springfield State Bank to establish a savings account for Braxton.

It is hard to believe, but we are already thinking about the country ham project for 2027! If you are interested in learning more about the project or signing up, please join us on November 17th at the Marion County Extension Office.

School has started, and that means it is almost time for a new 4-H program year!

As our senior 4-H members travel on to bigger and better adventures, we are looking for new members to join the fun!

🐑 Throughout the year, we have fun filled meetings, educational field trips, community service projects, leadership oppourtunities, and more!

🐽Did you know that livestock club is more than just showing? It expands to judging, skill-a-thon, quiz bowl, conference oppourtunities, and much more!

🐮Members don't need to own or show livestock to particpate!

So join us on Thursday, September 3rd at 6:00 p.m. at our interest meeting and potluck to learn more! For more information or to RSVP, contact Paighton Livers at (270) 972-9153.
