Eric Horn, longtime member of the run club has completed the Ohio to Erie Challenge: 326 miles / 815 laps in the prison yard - the equivalent distance from Cincinnati to Cleveland!! He is only one of a handful of runners to ever complete the full distance. Eric started as a brand new runner who had to put in a good effort to complete 1 mile. Since then he has grown to become a multi-time finisher of the Queen Bee Virtual Race and a leader by example in the run club.
Eric balances his consistent training with a demanding job that he has worked tirelessly at, hoping to build up some savings for his next chance at life on the outside, whenever that may come. He is well liked by everyone in the club and we know he will make a positive impact in society, as he has in our club.
Eric loves animals and wanted to find a way to support our veterans. As a result he has chosen as a reward for completing the challenge, to raise money for Pets for Vets. If you are able, please honor Eric’s multi-year achievement by donating to the charity of his choice. Thank you for your support of this awesome athlete who is trying to change his life and others’ for the better!
