On Tuesday September 24, 2024, Fred and his wife Lois Davis were leaving their home to celebrate their only son Daniel Davis’s birthday at his house.

As they were leaving Fred fell approx. 4 Steps (Lois thinks his knee gave out). She saw him fall from the 1st or 2nd step and he landed on the concrete pad at the bottom of the steps.

He had recently been put on blood thinners and ended up with a brain bleed that affected 5 parts of his brain including the brain stem and multiple fractures in his face and skull.

Fred had a living will; so, With family beside them, Lois and Daniel had to make some very hard decisions and follow his wishes. Fred was removed from the Ventilator Tuesday October 1, 2024, at 7pm and Comfort care was provided until Thursday at 3:26am when he peacefully Transitioned over to what he referred to as “The Fun Side of Heaven”.
