Flag pickup moved to Wednesday 9am!

They just postponed until Wednesday at 9am!

Saturday morning at 9am the cemetery needs help picking up all the flags. Everyone meets at the maintenance building for instructions. Basically you are picking up flags, bundle in groups of 10, and deposit in the boxes around the cemetery. It is a lot of walking and bending so keep that in mind.

Today's Monthly Honor Ceremony had another good turn out.

Today's Monthly Honor Ceremony had another good turn out.

As we go into Memorial Day weekend I am reminded by a Gold Star family that it is not "Happy Memorial Day" it is "Thankful Memorial Day". The cemetery will be having their annual ceremony at 9am Monday morning and details may be found on their page. If you can't make the ceremony, consider going out, pick a section, and say the names of those laid to rest. We are thankful for their service and honored by their sacrifices. Be safe this weekend πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡²β€οΈπŸ€πŸ’™

Great turnout today for the Monthly Honor Ceremony

Did you know that the last Thursday of each month there is a memorial ceremony at the cemetery? At 2:30 we recognize those laid to rest in the previous month without family or honors. They receive the honors they deserve and we are their family as their names are spoken so they are not forgotten. Join us at the first shelter on the right as you enter the cemetery. Open to all who wish to attend.
