The Army's Full Colonels list came out and Brother Tommy Ruth was on it. He and his wife are now flying high, she was on last years list. Great American couple.

Moved into our temporary space while the building association works on getting the chair lift fixed. We were able to have our regular stated meeting and for education we worked on how to do degree work. It was an adventure. Special thanks goes to our surprise guest from Queen Esther #22 Grand Chapter of Arizona Sister Susan Warren. Sister Susan stepped in as our Chaplin. She is visiting family assigned to Fort Leavenworth. She is the Worthy Grand Matron of Arizona who just came to visit another chapter and pitched right in. The latest news from Byington Chapter is that we have temporarily moved our chapter meeting location.

The chair lift at King Solomon Lodge has been inoperable, making it difficult to ascend to our Chapter room. Until the Leavenworth Masonic Building Association has the chair lift in place...

Byington Chaper #177
will meet:
- on the second and fourth Friday of each month
- Chapter beginning at 7:30 pm, with refreshments following
- at the Pilgrim Community Church
500 Arch Street (Fifth & Arch)
Leavenworth, Kansas
- in the Fellowship Hall with entrance on the North side of the church.

Tomorrow is District School of Instruction and we are hosting. Byington folks please let the WM know if you find yourself able to come even if you did not RSVP. We are meeting at Pilgrim Community Church "no stairs". Come in through the north door not the front door. Parking is on the street. Hope to see you there.

Update on Br. Calloway's funeral arrangement. Visitation will be the 23 from 5 to 7 PM at Davis Funeral Home 531 Shawnee so if you can not go to the funeral (12:30 Tuesday the 28th at the VA) you can pay your respects to the family.
