Here is the Update... Diane and I are moving into the midpoint of our transition to Full Time RVers. What does that mean…. We are in the process of downsizing and after the New Year we moved into our 42 foot Redwood Toy hauler. Additionally we started the process of sorting through and organizing our belongings to either pass to the boys, keep for ourselves, or sell. Well, as I write this note, we have passed items to the boys, packed up our keepsakes, and on 21, 22, and 23 February we will be having our Living Estate Sale. Busy Beever Estate Sales is handling the sale… visit their site and take a look and what we will be selling. Stop by during the sale and take a look and take something home.https://busybeever.com/estate-sale-one/

At Forbes Field Saturday with Diane to see the wall. Amazing as it was, the most rewarding part of our time was simply walking around and visiting with newly met brothers and sisters.

Welcome Ed Caffrey Home FOREVER

Hello fellow post members:

My husband comes home FOREVER on 17 September. As the military continues personnel reduction my husband was forced to retire after 21 years of service. I really want to do something special for him as he never truly felt appreciated in most of his years of service. After 21 years of service including 2 overseas tours, 8 months in Kuwait at the onset of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and serving 2 contingency overseas deployment for Special Operations that we can find time to welcome him home FOREVER.

Currently stationed in Misawa, Japan, He lands in Kansas City at 4:30pm. I would love to have a HUGE surprise welcome home forever crowd of his friends, family and community supporters.

Please join us Wednesday, 17 September at 4:30pm at Kansas City airport with flags and signs and lots of support! Please share with your military family supporters and fellow posts.

Thank you for your time and attention.
Tyleen Caffrey

It saddens me to inform you that we have lost one of our own, Terry "T-Bird" Voss, USAF, Vietnam Vet, Kansas City/NW MO PGR Ride Captain. Terry served his country in the USAF in Vietnam. He continued to serve our country by honoring our fallen Heroes as a Ride Captain in the KC/NW Missouri area. He also was a member of the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association. They will ride in tandem with us to honor Terry. Terry was a true Patriot and believed in his country and was dedicated to the PGR Mission.

Terry will be missed by his, wife Virginia, daughter Sarah, son Brad, son in law Matt, 1 year old Granddaughter Charlotte, Mother, Sisters, Brothers, Family, PGR Members and many Friends.

Terry's Family has requested the PGR's presence at his visitation, funeral and es**rt to his final resting place among other Heroes at Leavenworth National Cemetery.

Visitation and Funeral service will be at Mount Moriah Terrace Park Funeral Home and Cemetery
