What an incredible day with the Leander Chamber Leadership Class!

Today's Education Day gave our class a behind-the-scenes look at the innovative programs and partnerships shaping the future of our community.

We began the morning at the Geiger Compass Center, where we learned how Leander ISD is empowering young adults with disabilities to transition into independent adult life. We also had the opportunity to visit the Leander ISD Science Materials Center to explore the STEM initiatives and instructional resources supporting student success across the district.

Our class then toured The Learning Experience, gaining valuable insight into the importance of early childhood education and the impact it has on a child's lifelong learning journey.

The day concluded at Austin Community College District- San Gabriel Campus, where we learned about the exciting expansion of Leander ISD's Early College Program launching this fall. We also toured the campus and discovered how ACC continues to create pathways to higher education, workforce development, and meaningful community partnerships.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who welcomed our class and shared their expertise:

What a fantastic day in Old Town Leander!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the Old Town Street Festival and supported our local vendors, musicians, and businesses. From great food and live music to shopping and family fun, the day was filled with community spirit.
