A huge thank you to the Northwest Austin Rotary Club for stepping in and helping when we needed it most.

After a tree limb caused damage to our building earlier this month, their members showed up ready to work — no hesitation, just helping hands and servant hearts. We are incredibly grateful for the time, effort, and care they gave to HCCM.

This is what community looks like, and we appreciate you more than words can say. 💙

One of our favorite annual traditions is back! 👟
🛻 Stuff the Truck returns this July! 🛻

LISD schools will once again go head-to-head to collect the most shoes for local students in need, all competing for the coveted shoe trophy and ultimate bragging rights.

We’re collecting brand-new, name-brand athletic shoes in all sizes, with the biggest need being smaller children’s sizes.
Start watching for those summer sales and help us make a difference for local kids as they head back to school! 💙

Our Summer Fan Program is now underway in partnership with Family Eldercare. As temperatures continue to rise across Texas, this program provides free fans to qualifying community members who may not have reliable cooling at home.
If you are interested in donating fans, please drop off new or gently used fans at HCCM Monday to Friday from 9am to 3pm.
If you have any questions, please contact us here: https://hccm.org/get-help/contact-us.html

Today, we remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. 🇺🇸
Memorial Day is more than a long weekend — it’s a time to pause, reflect, and remember the sacrifices made for the freedoms we enjoy every day. We are grateful for those who served and especially for those who never made it home.

Wishing everyone a meaningful Memorial Day as we honor our heroes and hold their families close in our hearts. ❤️🤍💙

Throwback to a few weeks ago during last month's Easter season. The Children's Resource Foundation once again brought hope, joy, and encouragement to families in our community through their annual Easter outreach. 💛

For several years, this meaningful tradition has helped make Easter a little brighter for families facing difficult seasons. Through their generosity, adopted families received Easter baskets for their children filled with fun surprises, along with essential household items to help ease some of the everyday stress many families quietly carry.

Each family also received a ham for Easter dinner — creating the opportunity to gather around the table, share a meal together, and enjoy special moments that many of us often take for granted.

Programs like this remind us that support goes beyond meeting basic needs. Sometimes the greatest gifts are dignity, joy, celebration, and the reminder that a community cares.

We are so thankful for the continued partnership and compassion of the Children's Resource Foundation. Their kindness continues to make a lasting impact on so many local families year after year.

Together, we are building a stronger and more caring community — one family at a time. 💚

We would like to recognize Robert and Jess Leinhart for the month of May. The Leinharts have lived in the Cedar Park area for five years, having moved here from North Carolina to be closer to family. They are heavily involved in the church, which is how they originally heard about HCCM.
They enjoy being active in their community, as well as spend time with family. In their spare time they love traveling around Texas and have compiled a wishlist of every location they would like to visit.

Thank you, Robert & Jess, for your dedication and service to HCCM!
We appreciate all you do to make our thrift store amazing!
