Our friends at Stay Tuned for Vets are hosting a Country & Modern Line Dance + Partner Dance Class tomorrow! There are a few spots left!

Whether you're an experienced dancer or have two left feet, this is a great opportunity to connect, laugh, learn something new and enjoy time in community. Veterans, spouses, families and supporters are welcome.

Some wounds leave scars we can see.
Others live quietly beneath the surface.

This month, we recognize the courage of those living with PTSD and the lasting impact of trauma. Whether the trauma came through military service, first response, abuse, sexual assault, loss, addiction, illness or life's unexpected hardships, your story matters.

At Warrior Spirit, we believe healing is not about pretending the pain never happened. It's about finding the strength to take the next step forward. It's learning to trust again, to connect again and to discover peace in the present instead of being held captive by the past.

As people of faith, we hold onto this truth: God is near to the brokenhearted. He does not ask us to carry our burdens alone. In our darkest moments, His presence reminds us that hope is never lost and healing is always possible.

This PTSD Awareness Month, let's choose compassion over judgment, understanding over stigma and connection over isolation.

You are not alone.
You are not forgotten.
And your story is not over.

If Warrior Spirit receives the $500 award, those funds will go directly toward supporting participants in our Warrior Spirit: Recovery Program through peer support, wellness education and healing opportunities for individuals on their recovery journey.

Grateful for a lunch hour spent learning, connecting and growing at the Bay Area Spiritual Care Network meeting.

Thank you to Lynda Feldt, LPC-S, LCDC, NBCC, for sharing her insight on trauma, and to Cathy and St. Thomas the Apostle Episcopal Church for their warm hospitality.

It is always encouraging to gather with others who are passionate about caring for people well. We are reminded that God often works through community, connection and conversations like these.
