🚧 FM 518 Traffic Pattern Change; NO LEFT TURNS
A new traffic pattern is being phased in this week as work continues on a Capital Improvement project to replace the existing storm sewer system and improve drainage along FM 518 and Wesley/North Wesley Drive (just east of I-45).

The changes are expected to remain in place for approximately six weeks.

WHAT TO EXPECT
• Eastbound and westbound traffic on FM 518 will be reduced to one lane in each direction.
• No left turns from FM 518 (east or westbound) will be permitted between Wesley Drive and Highland Terrace. This restriction will help prevent backups and keep traffic moving through the work zone.
• Drivers should allow extra travel time and follow all posted signs and traffic-control devices.

🚧 WEEKEND ROAD CLOSURE 🚧

The Beltway 8 northbound feeder road, between Vista Road and Spencer Highway, will be fully closed beginning Friday, October 9 at 7:00 PM through Sunday, October 11 at 10:00 AM for scheduled bridge repair work.

Traffic will be detoured eastbound on Vista Road and northbound on Space Center Boulevard. This closure affects the feeder road only. Main lanes and exit ramps will not be impacted. Motorists are encouraged to plan alternate routes and allow additional travel time.

Please note that the closure schedule is weather dependent and subject to change.
