Our meeting began as usual with wonderful fellowship among members and guests as everyone signed in at the welcome table. There was plenty to enjoy, including a table full of fun raffle gifts, a horticulture table featuring items for sale, and a beautiful spread of delicious food!
As we filled our plates and enjoyed visiting with one another, our guest speaker, Jeff Glattly, owner of Wild Birds Unlimited, shared his knowledge and experience with the many birds that live in and migrate through our area.
Jeff introduced us to a wonderful variety of bird feeders designed for specific bird species. From interesting styles and designs to squirrel-proof feeders—and even feeders just for squirrels—there was something to catch everyone’s attention! We certainly learned a lot about attracting and feeding our feathered friends.
