Today, we mourn the loss of Deputy Sandeep Dhaliwal. I remember meeting him when he brought donations to the relief center during Harvey. What a tragic loss.

On the one year anniversary of Hurricane Harvey, I am pleased to announce the formation of the League City Community Action Network (LC CAN).
LC CAN was formed based on the amazing outpouring of volunteerism in our great city and surrounding area during Harvey.
We will serve as a central network of volunteers, gathering skills and resources, allowing us to mobilize and assist when our community is in need.
We will be made up entirely of citizen volunteers. My hope is that our LC CAN network will never be needed, but we will be ready if we are.
