🔥⚾ 2026 14U PG Astros Fest Regional World Series (AAA) - Gold Bracket Finalists 🔥⚾🏆
This team doesn’t bring in a revolving door of players. Outside of the occasional sickness, injury, or family conflict, the roster is the roster. There are no surprise additions, no guest players flying in from somewhere else to fill a spot.
What makes them so rewarding to watch is how often they hold their own against teams with more size, more depth, or more experience, and refuse to back down from any matchup.
This week brought two major jumps at once: playing up in age and transitioning to a full sized field. The intent was simple: let them grow into the dimensions instead of rushing the process. With just one scrimmage style game on the big field the week of, they stepped into tournament play and adjusted immediately.
From that point on, nothing about the environment seemed to shake them.
Different field sizes, tough draws, and less than optimal schedules (gotta love those 8:00 PM games followed by 8:00 AM first pitches) never change their approach. They compete with confidence, play for each other, and refuse to be intimidated by the logo across the field.
They backed that up in pool play, going 2–0 allowing 0 runs, scoring 14 and earning the number one seed overall.
In Gold Bracket play, they opened with an 11–8 win over Gulf Coast Royals, then dropped a hard fought 6–8 game to Texas Twelve Gold 2030 that was decided in a Texas Shootout. From there, it became survival baseball, and they answered every challenge.
⚾ 7–3 win over Gulf Coast Royals ⚾ 9–5 win over Banditos Williams ⚾ 7–5 win over HP Wiederhold to punch their ticket to the championship game
In the final, they faced Texas Twelve Gold 2030 filled with players preparing for high school, and they certainly looked the part. Bigger, stronger, and more physically mature, they were a formidable opponent. Impact battled until the final out before falling 0–6.
Every time this group was tested, they responded.
The wins are great when they come, but what stands out most is the consistency of their effort, resilience, and character.
They’ve earned respect because they compete the right way, play for one another, and continue to prove they belong, regardless of field size, opponent, or how the game is played across from them.
