Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts to Angel and the County Community Fund board members for taking the time to meet with our team and give us the opportunity to learn more about the incredible impact your organization is making across Lake County.

We’re proud to support an organization that works so intentionally to strengthen the communities we serve. Hearing firsthand about the people, organizations, and local initiatives benefiting from the Fund was a powerful reminder of what can happen when a community comes together to support one another.

As part of our commitment to Lake County, Vero Fiber is proud to make a $5,000 donation match to help amplify the generosity already being shown by this community. We’re bringing back our annual Community Dinner! Since we had to push the date later in the year, this year we’re making it a community lunch instead. 🍽️

Join us as we celebrate 250 years of the USA, 150 years of Colorado, and 10 years of LCCF! 🎉

This is an open invitation to our entire community. Come enjoy some good food, reconnect with neighbors, and join us for some meaningful civic conversations.

We’ll provide the main course and encourage everyone to bring a side dish to share! 🥘

The outpouring of generosity our community has shown in support of the Willow Fire Disaster Relief Fund has been truly incredible. Every donation—large or small—is helping provide relief and recovery assistance to those impacted by the Willow Fire.

We’re also excited to share that your donation may now go even further!

Thanks to two generous matching commitments:
⛏️Freeport-McMoRan will match donations up to $10,000, and
🛜Vero Fiber will match donations up to $5,000.

That means there is an opportunity to match up to $15,000 in community donations, doubling the impact of your gift while matching funds remain available.

On behalf of the Lake County Community Fund, we thank you for your generous contributions to the Lake County Disaster Relief Fund. Your compassion and willingness to help during this challenging time have been truly inspiring. Because of your generosity, our community is better positioned to respond to the immediate and long-term needs of those impacted by Willow Fire, which remains active in our community. We deeply value the trust you have placed in the Lake County Community Fund by entrusting us with your donations. Our goal is to ensure these funds have the greatest possible impact on all affected.
We are deeply grateful to the firefighters, first responders, emergency personnel, and all those working tirelessly to protect our community while continuing to provide the essential services that keep Lake County resilient and strong. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the many community organizations that have mobilized to support the needs of our community.
At Lake County Community Fund, we are working diligently in partnership with Lake County Leadership and other community organizations to implement an efficient, and effective process for distributing relief funds to the areas of greatest and most critical need. While it is important to move quickly, it is equally important that we take the time to ensure resources are allocated thoughtfully and equitably to maximize their benefit.

Thank you Vero Leadville!

Vero Fiber stands with our neighbors in Lake County that have been impacted by the Willow Fire. We have made an initial $500 donation to the Disaster Relief Fund at the Lake County Community Fund, and we want to do everything we can to support the community.

To help the first responders, evacuated families, and wildlife that urgently need resources, Vero Fiber will match all community donations up to $5,000.
