Our 250-150-10 Community Lunch is just around the corner! We’re still looking for table hosts and volunteers to help make the day happen.

🍽️ Want to host a table? Gather your friends, family, coworkers, neighbors — whoever you’d like! Bring food and beverages to share with your table. All table hosts are automatically entered into our raffle! 🎟️

💬 Enjoy civic conversations with people from across our community, collect stamps in your conversation book, and get entered into the raffle for a chance to win prizes!

🎶 We’ll also have a DJ, kids’ activities, food, and plenty of opportunities to connect and have fun!

Please Join us in welcoming Mike Cowart as our newest LCCF Board Member 🎉

A little bit about Mike:

Mike Cowart leads strategic partnerships at Nova Credit, a fintech company that builds tools to help people access credit they've earned but the traditional system often misses. His work centers on expanding access to credit for Americans who have been shut out or overlooked.

Originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, Mike has lived in seven states, including eleven years in Colorado. He spent most of that time on the Front Range and has called Leadville home for the past three. He puts the same energy into his community that he brings to his work.

Together with the local Chamber of Commerce, he runs a Remote Workers Collective that connects and supports the growing number of people building careers at 10,000 feet, and he is a devoted advocate for the town he now calls home.

Outside of work, Mike is happiest in the mountains, running ultramarathons, skiing, and getting to know the high country that brought him here.

First, we want to apologize for changing the date! We had some scheduling conflicts come up, but we’re excited to have a new date locked in.

Join us Saturday, October 3, from 12–3 PM at Ice Palace Park for an afternoon of food, fun, raffles, and—most importantly—COMMUNITY! ❤️

This year’s theme is 250-150-10: Celebrating Accomplishments, Anniversaries, and What Makes Us Special. 🇺🇸🏔️

We’re celebrating 250 years of the United States, 150 years of Colorado, and 10 years of the Lake County Community Fund! 🎊

Bring your organization, your friends, your family, and your appetite! 🌮🥗 All are encouraged to host a table, decorate it to fit the theme, and bring a dish to share. We’ll have prizes for Best Decorated Table and Best Food, plus some AMAZING raffle prizes! 🎟️🏆
