American Legion post 79 LeRoy, il is asking for volunteers this week we have 50,000 envelopes to stuff and we need all the help we can get starting monday at 10am and if we get enough help we could be done by fri, PLAEASE HELP!

As we begin a new membership year, I want to highlight the vital role of membership in the American Legion Family. You’ve likely heard the phrase “There is strength in numbers”—and for us, it’s more than a saying. It’s a reality. With nearly 3 million members, the American Legion Family is a powerful voice for veterans and their families. Whether you join the American Legion, the Sons of the American Legion, or the American Legion Auxiliary, you’ll be supporting the four pillars that define our mission:
Veterans Affairs & Rehabilitation
National Security
Americanism
Children & Youth
We often hear, “I don’t have time.” That’s okay! Membership doesn’t require active, But support to your POST is a plus.

We’d love to see you at a meeting, fundraiser, or simply enjoying a meal at Pot 79, but there’s no obligation, and your support goes directly toward programs that make a real difference in the lives of veterans, their families, and our communities.
