12U Black LeRoy Knights Come Up Short Against Pavilion 12U in a Pitcher’s Duel

June 11, 2026 12U LeRoy Black (sponsored by Stella Collision) vs. Pavilion 12U Softball

12U LeRoy Black fell to Pavilion 12U 5-1 on Thursday at Pavilion Fireman Rec Hall with Pavilion avenging their earlier season loss.

Dakota Ford carried the load in the circle, surrendering four hits and five runs (two earned) over five innings, striking out 12 and walking four.

Chloe Prine led the Knights with two hits in two at-bats, knocking in Harper Alexander for LeRoy’s lone run. Raelyn Cosimeno and Ford each collected a hit. Alexander and Gabrielle Saeva each earned a walk.

Lauren Gartz’s Big Day Propels GC Honor Past Dansville

June 11, 2026 GC Honor (LeRoy 9th/12th Grade sponsored by Copart of LeRoy) vs. Dansville

Lauren Gartz drove in four runs on three hits to lead GC Honor past Dansville 18-9 on Thursday at Le Roy Junior Senior High School. Gartz doubled in the second inning, scoring two runs, and singled in the fifth inning, scoring two.

GC Honor collected 17 hits and Dansville had 10 in the high-scoring affair.

GC Honor got on the board in the first inning after Addison Farrell scored after tagging up before scoring five runs on five hits in the second. Sophia Bischoff singled, scoring two runs, Gartz doubled, scoring two runs, and Annora Karcher singled, scoring one run.

GC Honor added two runs in the third. Miranda Stanton singled to the right side of the infield, making the score 8-5.

GC Honor scored five runs on six hits in the bottom of the fourth inning. Karcher and Jillian Weaver singled, each scoring a run, Mia Strollo singled, scoring two runs, and Taylor Lundfelt grounded out, scoring one run.

GC Honor scored five runs on four hits in the bottom of the fifth inning. Gartz singled, scoring two runs, Weaver singled, scoring one run, and an error scored two runs.

Farrell closed it to in the circle, the hurler surrendered six hits and four runs (three earned) over two innings, striking out six and walking two. Gartz stepped in the circle first for GC Honor allowing four hits and five runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out 10 and walking three.

GC Honor tallied 17 hits in the game. Gartz, Karcher, and Farrell each collected three hits for GC Honor. Strollo, Rylee Burch, and Weaver each collected multiple hits. GC Honor had a strong eye at the plate, accumulating six walks and stealing seven bases in the game.

8U LeRoy Game Recaps (sponsored by Bubba’s Landscape)

On 5/29 and 6/1 LeRoy 8U Knights played Pavilion Gold and Pavilion Purple. All the girls batted well and made some great plays.

On Wednesday 5/29 they kept the score at 0-0. They battled hard and had many leaning opportunities. There were great moments of sportsmanship. Alaina Innes was heard encouraging her opponent for having a good swing at bat.

On Friday 6/1 the Knights had some great hits but were down by 3 in the bottom of the sixth inning. Stepping up to the plate, and reminded that this is their last ups and to have fun in the batter's box, the girls came alive. All the girls hit well and Ella Sortino drove in the run that tied up the game. Final score was 3-3.

Wednesday June 3rd, LeRoy 8U Knights started off driving in 4 runs in the first inning. Makenna Fetzer, Macy Ruppert, Maddi Pillo, and GG Eick all made it around to home with the help of Ella Sortino, Elizabeth Jandik, and Savannah Fetzer's RBIs. Hits and RBIs were key for both LeRoy and York. Both teams seemed to be having a blast battling it out. York steadily worked to close the gap throughout the game and tied it up in the sixth inning. With their last ups, GG, Ella, and Elizabeth hit to get on base or advance the runners. It was Savannah Fetzer's huge rip that drove in an RBI to win the game.

10U LeRoy Knights Walk It Off Against Honeoye

The 10U Knights took Monday's game in dramatic fashion, with a 17-16 walk-off victory over Honeoye at LeRoy Jr/Sr High School. The game was tied at 16 in the bottom of the fifth when Josephine Plossl doubled, knocking in Jane Whiting for the winning run.

LeRoy generated five runs in the bottom of the second. Maiyah Hoffman and Willow Mulder drew walks, each scoring a run and another run scored when Genevieve Wilson owned a hit by pitch bringing in another.

LeRoy continued to take advantage of all opportunities making the score 11-7 in the bottom of the third after Whiting and Aubree Conte drew walks, each scoring one run. It remained a back and forth game until Plossl’s big hit.

Conte stepped in the circle giving up three hits in four and one-third innings, striking out eight.

Plossl starting at shortstop provided pop in the middle of the lineup leading LeRoy with 2 RBIs in going 2-for-3. Wilson (1 RBI), Whiting, Charlotte Shaughnessy (3 Runs) and Mckenzie Holota also had hits for LeRoy. The Knights had patience at the plate, tallying 12 walks for the game. Greta Cummings and Hoffman led the team with two free passes each. LeRoy was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error with Cummings making the most plays with nine.

LeRoy will play at home this Saturday 6/13 against York, 1p at Wildwood Park.

LeRoy 12U Red Show Determination and Hustle Against Dansville Red

June 4, 2026 12U LeRoy Red (sponsored by K&M Automotive) vs. Dansville Red

LeRoy got off to a great start when Riley Mangefrida opened the game with a triple followed by a Brooke Ryan walk. In the second, Eva Kemp worked a walk to reach base, while Mangefrida delivered a strong performance in the circle, recording three K’s in the bottom half of the inning.

The LeRoy offense came alive in the fourth inning as Brooke Ryan scored, Annabelle Braaten reached first base and Ana Klinczar earned a walk both eventually scoring. Evelyn Wittkopp added to the momentum with a hit, making the score 13-7 Dansville.

The defense made some exciting plays in the bottom of the fourth. Wittkopp made a great catch on a fly ball and quickly threw to B, Ryan at first base for another out. The team then nearly completed a triple play with a throw home, showcasing excellent awareness and teamwork in the field.

The Knights continued to battle in the fifth. Mangefrida doubled and later scored when B. Ryan followed with a double. Braaton added a double of her own and drove in another run as LeRoy cut into the deficit and kept up the pressure.

In the sixth inning, the defense continued to compete. Kemp recorded a tag out at second base to start the inning, while B. Ryan made an out at first and later added another tag out to help close out the game.

Several players turned in standout performances. Aris Beauchamp had an outstanding game behind the plate, providing leadership and consistency. Paisley Gross played a well-rounded game, contributing in multiple areas and helping the team on both offense and defense. Anna Judge made critical contributions, playing with confidence and effort from start to finish.

Although the final was Dansville 18, LeRoy 10, the Knights never stopped competing and showed great teamwork, hustle and heart throughout the game

Your 12U Red Knights are back in action next Tuesday 6/9 against Livonia, 6:15p start time at Wildwood Park.

12U Black LeRoy Knights Defeat Dansville Blue Behind Strong Performance From Dakota Ford

June 4, 2026 12U LeRoy Black (sponsored by Stella Collision) vs. Dansville Blue

Dakota Ford struck out 15 batters as the starter led the Knights past Dansville Blue 9-4 on Thursday night at Wildwood Park. Ford allowed three hits and four runs over six innings while walking eight. Ford started strong by throwing an immaculate first inning, striking out the side on nine pitches.

LeRoy got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Ally Marcello singled, scoring one run, Harper Alexander had a sac grounder, scoring one run, and Chloe Prine tripled, scoring a run.

Another big hit by Prine extended LeRoy’s lead to 6-1 in the bottom of the third inning.

Overall, the Knights were strong at the plate with 10 hits. Prine led the way with three hits and two RBIs from the seven spot in the lineup. Raelyn Cosimeno and Ford each had 2 hits with Olivia Vogt, Mia Englerth and Marcello recording a hit. LeRoy had a strong eye at the plate, piling up seven walks for the game led by Marcello and Gabby Saeva with 2 free passes each.

LeRoy 12U Red came up short against Wayland, but the game provided valuable opportunities for growth, learning, and teamwork. Several players stepped into new positions throughout the game, gaining experience and confidence while continuing to support one another on the field.

Defensively, the girls showed determination and hustle. Annabelle Braaton pitched a strong inning, recording a strikeout and helping lead the defense. One of the highlights came when a line drive was hit back to Braaton, who made the catch and quickly threw to Paisley Gross at first base to complete an impressive inning-ending double play. Other defensive contributions included Eva Kemp and Gross for an out at first, along with Riley Mangefrida fielding a ball cleanly and throwing to Brooke Ryan at first for an out. Hazel Plossl also contributed in the circle, recording a strikeout and helping the team close out a strong inning.

Offensively, LeRoy showed flashes of success throughout the game. In the first inning, Mangefrida reached base on a hit and later stole third. Plossl followed with a line-drive hit and Braaton driving in Mangefrida. Abby Tuttle added a big hit that brought home both Plossl and Braaton, helping LeRoy put four runs on the board early. B. Ryan added a line-drive hit later in the inning to keep the offense moving.
