Spent the afternoon yesterday with some of the residents of Tuff Memorial home in Hills, Mn. In 55 minutes they made 1,080 meals to feed the malnourished children of the world. I wish everyone could experience the sense of pride these individuals have when they find out how much their effort is needed and appreciated! Congrats Tuff on a job well done!!! 👏🏽

Our knitters, sewers, and crocheters have been hard at work since the January shipment! This morning they delivered their largest amount of items to-date. This shipment included 170 stuffed animals, 424 baby blankets, 209 hats, 924 baby onesies and SO much more. Amazing! I’m sure they’re not even letting those needles cool off before starting their next items. 🔥👏🏽

We were given the opportunity to join our local Catholic school pack for the “Then Feed Just One” event. Thank you to the 30+ Walmart associates and management team from several stores across Market 426 who came together to give back to our local Catholic school. Your teamwork, compassion, and dedication made a meaningful impact, and we are proud to support such an important cause. 💙

Today at Gehlen Catholic we packed 177,402 meals. 💜🙌🏽

There was one major person missing from the event.. Seivert. His presence, his stories, and his passion for serving others were deeply missed. But his mission was alive in every box packed and every person who showed up to make a difference.

So proud of every student, volunteer, supporter, and community member who helped make today possible. Thank you for continuing the mission and proving that even through loss, love and service can keep moving forward. 👏🏽

We’ve added a special, time-sensitive opportunity to our Then Feed Just One packing event this Thursday, May 7 💚

From 12:00–1:00 PM, join us for a lunch-hour power packing session honoring Richard Seivert, whose passion for TFJO touched so many. In the wake of his passing, we’re coming together the way he would’ve loved—by serving others.

Last week we celebrated Seiverts life in LeMars, and today we laid him to rest in South Dakota.

It was so powerful hearing stories about how he showed up time and time again for others, the lives he touched, and the lessons he taught without ever needing recognition.

In true Seivert fashion, today we honored him the best way we know how…by packing.

10 boxes = 2,160 meals.

“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.” — Mother Teresa

That’s exactly how Seivert lived. Each meal packed is a continuation of his legacy. A reminder that faith is lived out in action, and that serving others, especially those in need, is what we are called to do.

Let’s keep going. Let’s keep serving. Let’s carry his mission forward. 💜

At every packing event Seivert would pause the room, share how many meals had been made, and remind us who we were serving and why. Then he’d say, “Alright, let’s get back to work.”

It was never just about the meals. It was about the mission behind them, the people behind the numbers, and the love behind the work.

The Gehlen packing event is Thursday, May 7th. And now, it’s on us to make sure this mission didn’t end with him. It lives on in us.

What started out as an experiment has turned into something special. In 2024 we had 5 packing events in 1 senior living center. Yesterday was our last senior event for 2025.

The senior living project has blossomed into 5 facilities. Which had 11 packing events and they made a total of 19,260. It’s a great privilege to assist these residents help feed the hungry children of the world. A huge thank you to the facilities, activity directors, volunteers and lastly the residents. When you help someone you will never meet, that says a lot about an individual. Truly a very special experience to say the least!!
