It was a beautiful morning to be out training! ⭐️ THANK YOU ⭐️ to the Montgomery Fire Department for inviting the Le Center Area Fire Department to participate in your house burn training today. 🔥

This was a great opportunity for our members to gain valuable hands-on experience while sharpening the skills that help keep our communities safe. We are grateful for the strong relationships we share with our neighboring departments and the opportunity to train together.

🚒 The Le Center Fire Department would like to sincerely thank the Carl & Verna Schmidt Foundation for awarding our department funding to purchase protective bags for our SCBA masks.

These bags will help keep dirt, dust, and contaminants out of our masks while they are stored in our apparatus bays and carts. Clean equipment means cleaner air for our firefighters when they need it most.

We greatly appreciate the Foundation’s support and commitment to helping keep our firefighters safe while serving our community. Thank you for investing in the safety of our department and our members! 🚒

After many months of dedication and countless hours away from their families, we are proud to congratulate our four newest firefighters.

Today, these members successfully completed their Firefighter 1001 Class—including their live burn—and are now fully certified.
