Le Center Ambulance

Le Center Ambulance Serving the city of Le Center since 1974, providing lifesaving basic life support to the community

Since 1974, the Le Center EMS has been dedicated to bringing compassionate, life-saving emergency medical care to our streets, our homes and our workplaces -- to the very hearts of our residents and visitors -- thus making Le Center a safer and healthier place to live. The Le Center Volunteer Ambulance Service serves approximately 4,000 people that live in the Le Center area, and also assist other

ambulance and fire departments in Le Sueur County. The Ambulance Service is made up of men and women who have chosen to give their time and skill to help others in the community. We are trained Emergency Medical Technicians that respond to your emergencies at any time of the day. We believe that we provide a valuable service to our community!

We would like to say a huge thank you to the department's that were present today for the procession for Zach. It meant the world to our members and to Zach's family. Thank you to: Eagle Lake Fire Department, Ga***rd Fire Department, Winthrop Ambulance Service, Lake Crystal Ambulance, Cleveland Fire Rescue, South Central Minnesota EMS System. Thank you to Le Center Police Department for getting our procession across Hwy 99 safely.

It was great to see the support for each other and that everyone shows up when we need a little morale boost. Thank you everyone.

Edited to add a big thank you to Montgomery Ambulance for offering to cover pager for us so we could all honor Zach today as a team. We are lucky to have such a big extended family.

It is with a heavy heart that we let our community know that we have lost one of our own. Zach fought a courageous battle with Alveolar Sarcoma. He passed away August 9th. During his time with us and before he joined our service, Zach wore many hats to include volunteering with a fire department near his home and also with South Central EMS.

Rest easy Zach, we have it from here.

Last night we got to do some training on water rescue procedures. We were lucky enough to have Deputy Kern come out and tell us about the trailer that is used for the dive team and learn how we can all work together seamlessly in the event of needing to use this trailer in a situation. Thank you Le Sueur County Sheriff's Office for collaborating with us on this training.

We would like to wish a Happy Mother's Day to all out there that are doing the mom thing. For some that may be in the form of being an aunt, a foster parent, a single dad doing the job of both, or pet parent.

No matter whether the women on our service have children of their own or not, we thank them for caring for everyone around them all year long with no questions asked. I could not be more proud than to serve our community next to these amazing ladies.

We need to update our picture as we have had more amazing ladies join our service since it was taken.
