Coats For Kids is a charity started by Real Estate Experts in 2005 to help to provide a coat to all the school age children in Lawton. New and used- What we can't use we donate to C. Carter Crane or Hungry Hearts Feeding Ministry every year- someone will wear that coat!- so drop it off! All sizes are needed both male and female from 5T t

o adult 6XL

the most coat sizes requested are both male and female:
8/Med
10-12/Lg
14-16/XL

Please make sure there are no advertisements on the new coats- alcohol or ci******es- if you purchase for the kids- they will be donated to other charities

We also accept hats, gloves, socks, packing tape and boxes- med to XL

Our goal is to deliver the first week of Nov but it is never too late to donate- we can use it for next year. The donation boxes will be collected the Friday before Oct 1st

We will only hand out WINTER COATS- all jackets or hoodies will be donated to the other charities....think parkas with hoods- puffer coats. It gets COLD out there in the mornings for those littles to be walking to school! We truly appreciate each and every one of you in the community! IF not for you we wouldn't be able to provide a warmer winter to the students of LPS system.

In 2005 we started reaching out to schools with kids in need and started raising money to purchase coats for kids that come to school without a coat in the dead cold of winter. We reach out to the teachers in the local schools here in Lawton because they always know which kids don't have a coat and they help us out with providing us the right sizes to buy and we deliver them in person each year. Help us keep the neediest children in our community warm this winter by donating today.
