OCTOBER 17 — THE VETERAN SUPPORT SCAVENGER HUNT! 🍽️🎣🇺🇸

We somehow managed to put THREE veteran events on the SAME DAY, so instead of choosing just one…

We’re making a day out of it. 😂

🎣 STOP #1: GO FISHING!
Head over to the Veterans Home and support John Navarro’s Children and Veteran Fishing Tournament.

Catch some fish. Tell some lies about how big they were. Work up an appetite. 🎣😏

Then head over to VFW Post 5263, because from 12–4 PM we’ve got TWO food fundraisers happening under the same roof!

🍽️ STOP #2: HIT THE DINING ROOM
Support the Cooties Schnitzel Fundraiser. Let’s help the Lousy Bunch keeping Veterans smiling in beds of white!

🍽️ STOP #3: HIT THE BALLROOM
Support the Cameron Veteran Walk Fundraiser, raising money for the November 14 Veteran Walk at Cameron, hosted by the youth of community who have recognized the importance of veteran support!(flyer attached so you can register and join us on Nov 14th)

And here’s the pro move:

👉 Eat one for lunch.
👉 Grab the other TO-GO for dinner.
👉 Go home, put your feet up, and enjoy the fact that you supported THREE veteran events in one day. 😎

That’s not overachieving.

That’s just efficient veteran support. 😂🇺🇸

🎣 Fish.
🍽️ Eat.
🥡 Grab dinner.
🛋️ Go home and relax.

October 17 — accept the challenge and complete the Veteran Support Scavenger Hunt!

When helping veterans becomes a family affair. 🇺🇸

A huge shoutout to the Swanson family for stepping up and supporting VFW Post 5263 with a $125 to our Buddy Poppy Fund and our mission to serve local veterans and their families.

It’s always special when giving back brings the whole family together. Their generosity is a great reminder that supporting veterans isn’t just about one person or one organization, it takes a community and the Dart family always steps up, and sometimes it takes the whole family!

Thank you, Swanson family, for helping us continue to make a difference right here at home. ❤️🤍💙

Veterans helping veterans. Families helping families. Community taking care of community.
