"Eyes of the world are upon you."
Those words were delivered to Allied troops before they embarked on the largest amphibious invasion in history.
On June 6, 1944, thousands of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and support personnel crossed the English Channel and landed on the beaches of Normandy. Their courage under fire helped liberate Europe and changed the course of history.
Today, we honor the service members who answered that call, the sacrifices they made, and the legacy they left behind.
As an organization dedicated to supporting the defense community and those who serve our nation, FISTA Innovation Park proudly joins in remembering the heroes of D-Day and the generations of warfighters who followed.
We remember. We honor. We are grateful.

Congratulations to our very own Raegan Martin-Tekeall on being named the recipient of the Siegfried Excellence in STEM Informal Educator Award, presented by the Tulsa Regional STEM Alliance! 🏆✨

This prestigious award recognizes outstanding educators who inspire curiosity, innovation, and a passion for STEM beyond the traditional classroom. Through her dedication to hands-on learning and student engagement, Raegan has helped ignite a love for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in countless young learners.

As an added honor, Raegan is also a finalist for the Overall STEM Educator of the Year Award, which will be announced at the Flight Night Gala this September! ✈️🌟

We are incredibly proud of this well-deserved recognition and grateful for the leadership, creativity, and passion she brings to FISTA every day.

Turns out two days of animals, art projects, exploration, and STEM can generate an impressive amount of excitement.
Week 1 of Littles Camp took our campers from safari habitats to coral reefs as they discovered amazing animals, built creative projects, explored ecosystems, and learned about the world around them through hands-on activities and play. 🦁🐦🐠🦋
The questions were endless, the creativity was unmatched, and the smiles made it clear we had a lot of future scientists and explorers in the room.

🚀 Littles Camp Week 2 is coming June 29–30, and we'll be exploring the world of engineering! Campers will build, create, design, and discover how engineers turn big ideas into reality.

🐦🛠️ Creativity was in full flight during our Birds and Builders class! From hands-on building to problem solving and teamwork, this class was packed with innovation, imagination, and STEM fun from start to finish.
A huge thank you to the Lawton Public Library for partnering with us to make this experience possible. We love seeing our community come together to inspire the next generation of thinkers, creators, and builders — this is exactly what makes Lawton a STEM City! 💡✨
If this class was any indication, our summer programs are going to be incredible. We can’t wait to see everyone back for a summer full of discovery, creativity, and hands-on STEM adventures! ☀️🚀

We are thankful for our great partnerships with QUAD.Build, Inc. And Tradesman architectural studios. Together we have designed and built award winning projects that serve our community. The FISTA STEM lab won Top Commercial Project in the state!

Last week the FISTA Innovation Park STEM Lab and QUAD.Build, Inc. was awarded with Top Commercial Project and Top Contractor by the Journal Record! 🏆

We had a lot of fun designing the STEM Lab and QUAD's quality craftsmanship really shined though on this one. Great job team!

FISTA is proud to partner with Oklahoma State University’s OAIRE program to bring an exciting aerospace experience to students across our community through the OSU-OAIRE Fly Forward: Tuesday Take-Off event!
This engaging one-day STEM experience will take place on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at FISTA in Lawton and is designed specifically for incoming 5th- and 6th-grade students interested in aviation, drones, technology, and hands-on learning.
Through this incredible opportunity with OSU-OAIRE, students will:
✈️ Explore aerospace science and emerging drone technology
🚁 Participate in hands-on drone flight training
🏁 Complete exciting STEM challenges and obstacle courses
🤝 Build teamwork and collaboration skills
🌟 Gain confidence while discovering future career pathways in aerospace and innovation
Lunch will be provided for all campers at no cost.

FISTA is proud to showcase the work of three talented local students from the Life Ready Center in the Hall of Inspiration. Each piece reflects their creativity, dedication, and unique perspective—truly a testament to the passion they bring to their craft.

The Hall of Inspiration at FISTA highlights artwork from local artists, creating a powerful collection that celebrates the culture, spirit, and history of Southwest Oklahoma.

Multiple young artists from the Life Ready Center were recognized for their efforts in creating a pair of art pieces to be displayed in FISTA's Hall of Honor.

Razzle Berry Robotics absolutely SHINED at the Tiger Town VEX Competition in Pryor, OK, on February 28th, 2026! 🤖🏆
This team started completely from the ground up in November 2025, and what they accomplished in just a few months is nothing short of incredible. They learned fast, worked through every challenge, rebuilt, tested, failed, tried again—and never once gave up.
All that dedication paid off when they earned the Judges’ Award for their creativity, teamwork, and innovation. That recognition means so much because it reflects exactly who they are: resilient, hardworking, and fearless learners.
We could not be prouder of these students. They didn’t just build a robot—they built confidence, character, and a foundation for something even bigger in the future.
