The subject of “sin” is on my heart this morning.
I’m researching the Hebrew word used in Genesis 4:7.
One lexicon equates the noun to “crouching beast”.

Genesis 4:7 (ESV) If you do well, will you not be accepted? And if you do not do well, sin is crouching at the door. Its desire is contrary to you, but you must rule over it.”

We need to dominate “sin” or it will work to dominate us.
When we don’t do the right thing, we sin.
Do right!
