Special Olympics Oklahoma- Great Plains Area Great Plains Area Special Olympics provides athletic training and events for people of all ages with intellectual disabilities.

The goal of Special Olympics is for all persons with
intellectual disabilities to have the opportunity to become
useful and productive citizens who are accepted and
respected by their families, friends and in their communities. We provide: traditional bowling, unified bowling, aquatics,& track and field, unified co****le, unified volleyball, and unified basketball, unified bocce and Stars of the future (under 8 program)

Upcoming event for Great Plains Area Special Olympics:
February 28, 2026: Great Plains Area Polar Plunge. New Lawton Aquatics Center in Elmer Thomas Park. Registration is at 10:00 with Awards at 11:00 followed by the Plunge.
