Thank you so much for everybody who came out today and helped at our community work day! I apologize but I'm not going to tag everybody But thank you so much for all of your hard work to help us get some much needed projects completed and some organization done. If you missed this work day and would like to volunteer for future work days, please know that there are more projects coming.

The following prints/paintings and pottery are currently in our building and are looking for their owners or a new forever home. We are working to update the artwork on our walls but would like the try to find the owners of what we already have. If one of these belongs to you, please message us about retrieving it or letting us know what you would like done with it.

This week at lfsac we will have our community art night Friday the 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. while this is open to everyone We will be working with sharp blades to create our stamps So please be mindful if you bring your children and supervise appropriately.

Saturday morning we will be opening the building for our community work day. If anybody would like to attend we will be doing some much needed upkeep on the building through deep cleaning, painting, organizing, and some light maintenance.

We are so excited for the August Sewing Society of Lawton event!

Hello! We have a workshop for you! Come anytime and slip right into the fun!

This months project is a great start for building the foundation for your sewing journey! All ages welcome!

Not interested in the workshop? No problem! You are still welcome to join us and chat!

Join us every 3rd Tuesday as we gather to create, learn, encourage one another, and celebrate the joy of making things by hand.

Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to lifelong sewists.

WORKSHOPS: Hand Sewing 101: 3 Stitches for Any Project

For this workshop we will be making a small pin cushion, this requires minimal fabric (about the size of 1 - 2 of your hand).

Hey everyone, just a little update on Lawton Fort Sill Art Council we are monthly community art night August 21st from 6:00 to 8:00 with an amazing new instructor Soyla Walters She will be teaching us how to carve rubber stamps. Then the following day, August 22nd at 9:00 a.m. We will be having a community work day. This is for anybody who would like to come help us with a few projects. We will be painting, organizing, and a few other light maintenance projects.

We're excited to announce that Hippie Holiday Christmas Market is making its return after being on pause for the past few years!

🎄 We're looking for handmade local artisans and makers to join us for this indoor holiday market on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at the Lawton Fort Sill Art Council (LFSAC).

Vendor spaces are $50.
We're looking for unique, handcrafted, locally made items—perfect for holiday shoppers looking to support small businesses.
