Lawton Business Women Our mission is to achieve equity for women in all stages of life, especially in the workplace, through advocacy, education and awareness.

The objectives of this organization shall be:
--To elevate the standards for women in business and in the professions.
--To promote the interests of business and professional women.
--To bring about a spirit of cooperation among business and professional women of the United States.
--To extend opportunities to business and professional women, through education along lines of industrial, scientific and vocational activities.

As her last act as President, Patricia Williams motioned to donate $1,500 to Marie Detty Youth & Family Services Center New Directions Women’s Shelter! Last night LBW was honored to present the donation to Executive Director, Kerrie Mathews.

💜💜New Directions Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Shelter is an invaluable resource to Lawton and Southwest Oklahoma, providing support and services to women in need. Services include an emergency shelter and pet-friendly housing, counseling, legal and court advocacy, and a 24/7 crisis hotline.💜💜

Marie Detty herself served as Lawton Business and Professional Women’s Club President from 1957-1958. In our Centennial Year it is a privilege to honor her legacy and support New Directions and their valuable work!

Ladies, I am SO excited to kick off the FIRST workshop in our 12-month Lawton Business Women series focused on holistic health, wellness, mindset, growth, and connection. 💛

This year, we are intentionally creating space to pour into ourselves while building meaningful relationships with the incredible women in our organization. Because thriving isn’t just what we pour into others — it starts from pouring into ourselves first, which then ripples outward into greater impact in our families, businesses, workplaces, and community.
