Comanche County Veterans Council - CCVC

Comanche County Veterans Council - CCVC Comanche County Veterans Council is made up of 16 different veteran and veteran support groups.

The goals of the CCVC are:

 Work with veteran organizations and other organizations and Government agencies to ensure uniform, protective programs for veterans, spouse, widows/widowers, minor children, other veteran dependents.

 Promote a better understanding within the community of the problems and needs of veterans and their families.

 Assist veterans and their families to seek out Govern

ment agencies that can assist them in resolving their problems and needs.

 Promote and improve communication between Comanche County veteran organizations and Government agencies that provide assistance to veterans and their families.

 Promote effective methods of seeking out veterans and/or their families who need assistance, such as; rehabilitation, training, and employment by guiding them to appropriate agencies.

 Support Oklahoma Veterans Council to represent veterans in lobbying State and Federal legislators to ensure that veterans and their dependents receive all the benefits to which they are entitled.

 Advise elected Government officials on matters pertaining to veterans, widows/widowers, their children, and other veteran dependents.

 Promote the general welfare of the community as defined in IRS Regulation 1.501 (c) 4-1 (a) (2).

FORT SILL VISITOR PASSES

As Fort Sill transitions to its new website, visitor pass information is temporarily unavailable online.

If you need a visitor pass and have a REAL ID, you can apply online through the Army’s secure Automated Installation Entry (AIE) Portal: https://pass.aie.army.mil/

If you do NOT have a REAL ID, you MUST come to the Visitor Welcome Center (VWC), T6701 NW Sheridan Rd, in person with two alternative forms of identification to obtain a pass.

✅ Accepted forms of identification include:
🔹 U.S. Passport or Passport Card
🔹 State or local government-issued ID
🔹 Student ID (in some cases)
🔹 Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
🔹 Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC)
🔹 Federal PIV or PIV-I card
🔹 Local installation access passes (e.g., DBIDS card)

Grandeur of Grace is looking for furniture.

Here’s a list of furniture/items they’re in need of:

- 3 full size beds/mattresses
- 2 bunk beds
- 2 microwaves
- 2 couches
- 2 dining tables

Both families have zero furniture so anything helps!
