Thursday evening, the Paw Paw, Mattawan and Lawton Lions sponsored a presentation on human trafficking awareness with Leslie King. Leslie was a victim of human trafficking for over 20 years. It is her mission now to educate others and to rescue those still trapped in that life. Her story and her mission are life changing. Thank you to those that attended. This last week we had our annual award banquet to honor the students who won our scholarships and several Lions Club members who most excellently served our club this year. Congratulations to all! 🦁

The Paw Paw, Mattawan and Lawton Lions invite you to join us for a free evening of information and inspiration. Leslie King is a former victim of human trafficking who has made it her life's mission to make sure not one person is ever trafficked again and she will share her story with us. She will also have her book available for purchase at the event. Please note, while we encourage children to attend, since they are some of those that are most often groomed for human trafficking, this is going to be a discussion of mature content. We are encouraging parental discretion as to whether your child is mature enough to hear this information in this setting.
