Sunday Inspiration — Romans 8:27–37

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” — Romans 8:28 (KJV)

Each day, as President and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Holy City of the Wichitas, I search for God's will and pray for His guidance to restore this sacred place to the greatness it once knew.

I believe God had a purpose for Reverend Anthony Mark Wallock nearly a century ago, and I believe He still has a mighty purpose for the Holy City today!

Our challenges are many, and one of our greatest struggles is financial. But my faith reminds me of another powerful promise:

“If God be for us, who can be against us?” — Romans 8:31

That is why we established the Million Dollar Endowment Club — a New Century of Growth, One Dollar at a Time!

We are not asking for great wealth. We are asking for faithful hearts willing to help preserve this sacred place for generations yet to come.

One million people. One dollar each. One mighty purpose!

I cannot accomplish this mission alone. But with God's guidance, your prayers, and our faith working together, I believe the greatest days of the Holy City are still ahead of us!

For we are “more than conquerors through him that loved us.” — Romans 8:37

Come join us in faith, fellowship, peace, and hope.

Our history is great. Our faith is strong. And our future belongs to God!

To God be the glory!

Our Sunday Blessing from Curtis Ketch, Chairman and President
Inspired by Ephesians 3

On this beautiful Sunday, I reflect on Paul’s words in Ephesians 3 and the privilege God has given me to serve Him at the Holy City of the Wichitas.

By His grace and mighty power, I have been entrusted with a responsibility: to share the good news of Jesus Christ and help carry this place of faith, hope, peace, and fellowship into the next generation. I do not feel worthy of such a calling, but I am thankful that God works through willing hearts.

Paul reminds us that through Christ, all who believe in the good news share in God’s promises. That message inspires our welcome at the Holy City—a place where all people can come, reflect, and experience His love.

Because of Jesus Christ and my faith in Him, I can approach God boldly and confidently. Even when trials come, I will not lose heart.

I fall to my knees before our Heavenly Father, the Creator of everything in heaven and on earth, and pray:

Lord, strengthen us through Your Spirit. May Christ make His home in our hearts, and may our roots grow deep into Your love. Help us understand how wide, how long, how high, and how deep that love truly is. Guide our work at the Holy City so that generations to come may know You.

All glory belongs to You, Lord. Through Your mighty power at work within us, You are able to accomplish far more than we could ever ask or imagine. May our service bring You glory through Jesus Christ, today and for generations to come.

In Jesus’ name, we give thanks. Amen.

Come and join me at the Holy City of the Wichitas, where I find peace, purpose, and the blessings of serving the Lord.

Our Saturday Morning Inspiration — Genesis 12:1–3

“I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing.” — Genesis 12:2, KJV

When I read the history of the Holy City of the Wichitas and Reverend Wallock, I see a beautiful reminder that God can be preparing our purpose long before we understand it.

As a child coming from Austria to the United States, Reverend Wallock could hardly have imagined where his journey would lead. Yet, as I reflect on God’s call to Abraham, I see echoes of that journey: a new land, a step of faith, and a life that would become a blessing to others.

I believe God guided Reverend Wallock to Oklahoma with a purpose. His ministry would reach far beyond these mountains, but the heart of his calling was to share the story of Jesus Christ.

Here, he helped build a place resembling ancient Jerusalem, where people could gather, witness that story, and find faith, hope, peace, and fellowship.

The blessing was never meant to stop with him. It was meant to be shared.

Today, we carry that calling forward. May we trust where God leads us and use what He has given us to bless others.

Come join us at the Holy City of the Wichitas. Your journey may bring you here—and the blessing you receive may reach someone else.
