Friday Evening Blessing from the Holy City of the Wichitas

"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
— 2 Corinthians 3:17

As the sun sets over the Wichita Mountains and the evening grows still, the Holy City of the Wichitas is reminded of the freedom that comes from the presence of the Lord. Here, among the historic stone buildings, the peaceful paths, and the beauty of God's creation, we can pause from the noise of the world and listen to the gentle sounds of nature.

The Holy City has long been a place where people come seeking peace, fellowship, and a closer walk with God. In the quiet of this sacred place, we are reminded that where the Spirit of the Lord dwells, there is freedom—freedom from fear, freedom from worry, and freedom to rest in His love and grace.

On this Friday evening, may you find a moment of stillness to hear God's voice, feel His presence, and experience the liberty that only He can provide. May His peace surround you, His blessings sustain you, and His love guide you through the days ahead.

Have a blessed and peaceful evening.

A New Century of Growth at the Holy City of the Wichitas

"And now, O Lord God, confirm forever the promise You have made concerning Your servant and his house. Do as You promised." — 2 Samuel 7:25

When Reverend Anthony Mark Wallock envisioned the Holy City of the Wichitas nearly a century ago, we believe he was inspired by God's promise that faithful work would endure through future generations. His dream was to create a place where people from all walks of life could come together in faith, fellowship, and peace while experiencing the story of Jesus Christ.

Today, the Board of Directors honors Reverend Wallock through the Million Dollar Endowment Club. As a special thank-you, each one-dollar contribution receives a commemorative endowment note featuring Reverend Wallock, recognizing the man whose vision continues to bless countless visitors each year.

While one dollar may seem small, great things often begin with humble gifts. By joining the Million Dollar Endowment Club, you become part of our New Century of Growth, helping build a perpetual endowment that will preserve this National Register Historic Site and ministry for generations to come.

Your support helps ensure that future families, children, and visitors can continue to experience the history, inspiration, and blessings of the Holy City of the Wichitas.

Please consider giving just $1 today and become part of preserving Reverend Wallock's vision for the future. Together, one dollar at a time, we can create an endowment that will sustain the Holy City for generations to come.

May God bless you with peace, fellowship, and His abundant grace.

Friday Morning Blessing – Holy City of the Wichitas

"And they came, everyone whose heart stirred him, and everyone whose spirit was willing, and brought the Lord's offering for the work of the tabernacle of the congregation..." — Exodus 35:21

Imagine it is 1933. America is in the depths of the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. Families are struggling, jobs are scarce, and many are searching for hope, peace, and a reminder that God has not forgotten them.

For years, Reverend Anthony Mark Wallock had held Easter sunrise services in the Wichita Mountains. Thousands gathered to worship, and one Easter morning nearly 40,000 people assembled on a hillside near Medicine Park to celebrate the risen Christ.

Yet Reverend Wallock carried an even greater vision. He dreamed of creating a place where people from all walks of life could come together in faith, fellowship, and prayer—a place where the story of Jesus Christ could be shared for generations to come. Working alongside community leaders, including pageant spokesman Ron Stevens, that vision became the Holy City of the Wichitas, constructed during the WPA era as a beacon of hope during one of America's most difficult times.

Like those described in Exodus 35:21, people whose hearts were stirred came together to build something greater than themselves. Their efforts created a place that continues to inspire visitors nearly a century later.

Today, as we enter a new century of growth, the Holy City remains a place where people can find peace, fellowship, and a closer walk with God. Through the Million Dollar Endowment Club, we are working to ensure the long-term support and preservation of this historic site and ministry so that future generations may continue to experience the faith, hope, and fellowship that Reverend Wallock envisioned nearly one hundred years ago. Just as those early supporters came together to build the Holy City, we invite all who believe in its mission to help secure its future for years to come.

May your Friday be filled with God's blessings, His peace, and the assurance that even in difficult times, He is always at work.

Thursday Morning Blessing

> “And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.”
Exodus 25:8 (KJV)

On this beautiful Thursday morning, we are reminded of God's call to build and preserve places where His presence can be felt and His message can be shared. For more than a century, the Holy City of the Wichitas has stood as a place of faith, fellowship, history, and hope, welcoming visitors from across Oklahoma and beyond.

As we enter our second century of service, the Board of Directors is working to ensure that this sacred and historic place remains a blessing for generations yet to come. Through the Million Dollar Endowment Club, we are laying a foundation for the future, helping preserve the Holy City, its historic structures, and the mission envisioned by Reverend Anthony Mark Wallock more than 100 years ago.

Just as God's people came together to build a sanctuary, we invite all who cherish the Holy City to join us in preserving this special place. Our prayer is that future generations will continue to experience the peace of the Wichita Mountains, the rich history of this National Register historic site, and the blessings of fellowship found here.

May the Lord bless you today with His peace, guide your steps, and strengthen your faith. May His presence dwell among us as we work together to preserve this sacred place for all who will come after us.

Wednesday Morning Blessing – Holy City of the Wichitas

"A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time." — Isaiah 60:22

On this beautiful Wednesday morning, we are reminded that God's greatest works often begin with the smallest steps. The vision of the Million Dollar Endowment Club may seem modest as each person joins one dollar at a time, but Isaiah 60:22 teaches us that what begins small can, through God's blessing, grow into something strong, enduring, and far-reaching.

At the Holy City of the Wichitas, we understand the importance of preserving this sacred and historic place for future generations. For more than a century, Reverend Anthony Mark Wallock's vision has brought people together in faith, fellowship, and peace. Today, we are called to be faithful stewards of that legacy, ensuring that the Holy City continues to inspire and bless those who come after us.

Every contribution, every volunteer, every prayer, and every act of support helps build a foundation that will sustain this ministry and historic landmark for years to come. What may seem like a small blessing today can become a great source of hope and strength tomorrow.

May God's hand guide this effort, may His blessings multiply beyond our expectations, and may we trust His promise that in His perfect timing, "the LORD will hasten it in his time."

May peace, fellowship, and God's abundant blessings be with you today and always.

Tuesday Morning Blessing from the Holy City of the Wichitas

"Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, that the plowman shall overtake the reaper, and the treader of grapes him that soweth seed..." — Amos 9:13

On this beautiful Tuesday morning, we are reminded of God's promise of abundance, renewal, and blessings that continue from one generation to the next. Amos paints a picture of a harvest so great that the work of gathering one blessing overlaps with the planting of the next. It is a vision of a future sustained by faith, hope, and God's provision.

That same spirit inspires the Million Dollar Endowment Club at the Holy City of the Wichitas. Our goal is to create a perpetual endowment that will help preserve this sacred and historic place for generations yet to come. Nearly a century ago, Reverend Anthony Mark Wallock envisioned a place where people could come to experience the story of Jesus Christ, find peace in God's presence, and enjoy fellowship with one another in the beauty of the Wichita Mountains.

Today, we have the opportunity to help ensure that vision continues long into the future. Through faithful stewardship and support, we can build a lasting foundation that will allow future generations to walk these grounds, worship in the World Chapel, experience the Prince of Peace Easter Pageant, and discover the same hope and inspiration that have touched countless lives for nearly 100 years.

May God bless you this morning with His peace, guide your steps, and remind you that the seeds we plant today can become blessings for generations to come.

Monday Morning Blessing from the Holy City of the Wichitas

"Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end should greatly increase."
— Job 8:7

On this beautiful Monday morning, we are reminded that God often begins great works with humble beginnings. Nearly a century ago, Reverend Anthony Mark Wallock followed a vision placed upon his heart and began building what would become the Holy City of the Wichitas. Through faith, dedication, and the work of countless volunteers, that vision continues to bless thousands of people each year.

As we begin our journey toward establishing the Million Dollar Endowment Club, we do so with hope, faith, and a commitment to future generations. The Board of Directors is humbled to serve as stewards of this historic and sacred place. We recognize that the buildings entrusted to us are nearly 90 years old and that preserving them requires planning not only for today, but for the next century.

Our prayer is that this endowment will provide lasting support for the preservation of the Holy City, the continuation of the Prince of Peace Easter Pageant, and the sharing of God's message of peace, fellowship, and hope for generations yet to come.

Just as Job 8:7 reminds us, great growth can come from small beginnings. With God's guidance and the support of those who cherish this special place, we believe the future of the Holy City of the Wichitas will be brighter than ever. With your support we can build the Million Dollar Endowment Club one dollar at a time.

May God bless you this morning with peace, strength, and the assurance that He is still building great things through faithful hearts.
