We are so thankful for the donation we have been receiving. Everything we get goes to helping the cats and dogs that we are spaying/neutering. It helps us keep the kennels clean,gives them more spaces to lay, etc..

🚨 emergency pyometra surgeries.

Pyometra is a severe, life-threatening uterine infection that occurs in unspayed female dogs/female cats. It can develop quickly and, without treatment, can lead to sepsis, organ failure, and death.

Many owners are surprised to learn that the signs can start subtly:
🐾 Lethargy
🐾 Decreased appetite
🐾 Increased drinking and urination
🐾 Vomiting
🐾 Vaginal discharge (sometimes)
🐾 A swollen abdomen

The treatment for pyometra is emergency surgery to remove the infected uterus and ovaries. These patients are often much sicker than a routine spay patient and require more intensive care, monitoring, and hospitalization.

This photo is a reminder of why we recommend spaying your pets before problems arise. A routine spay is not only safer and less expensive than emergency pyometra surgery, but it can also prevent your pet from experiencing a life-threatening illness altogether.

We're grateful that we were able to help these patients, but we'd much rather prevent pyometra than treat it.

We are just reposting to kinda keep it updated as well to anyone who wants to donate. We also will take blankets, laundry soap, dog kennels and etc that no one wants around the house anymore. We appreciate all the donations we have been receiving.

Make sure when you call you know what your dogs weighs approximately
Make sure you let us know weather you have a male or female as well
Make sure you let us know if the animal is up to date on shots
Make sure to let us know about how old they are as well
