The Fabric Swap is THIS Saturday!

One of our favorite days of the year is THIS Saturday! The Fabric Swap is an amazing way to trade up or out on your fabric stash! Bring the fabrics you aren't using and trade them, sell them, or give them away to another sewist!

All fabrics are allowed (quilting, apparel, home dec, linens/bedspreads) and if you are selling your stuff try to have it measured, marked, and priced! It goes from 10am-2pm, although the busiest time is normally 10am-12pm.

We will have tables and chairs set up for people to display their goods and also sit down. All leftover fabrics get donated to local schools, colleges, and programs with sewing programs!

If you have any questions feel free to reach out! We hope to see you there and for this one to be the biggest one yet!

The MFA Oil Foundation is now accepting grant applications for our upcoming grant period!

This year, organizations can apply for two types of grant support, designed to meet both immediate needs and larger community projects:

Typically awarded in amounts up to $2,000, these grants support smaller-scale needs that make a big difference locally. Examples include:
- Supplies and equipment for first responders
- Educational materials for schools
- Support for 4-H and FFA programs that promote agriculture and cooperative education
- Furniture or appliances for shelters and community facilities

These grants support projects with a broader or long-term community impact. Examples include:
- County fairground building projects
- Athletic fields and park facilities owned by local governments or school districts
- Major first responder initiatives
- Rural infrastructure improvements for libraries, community centers, or schools

If your organization is working to strengthen and serve your community, we encourage you to apply. Together, weโ€™re proud to support projects that help our communities grow and thrive.
