The Black & Hispanic Alliance is a student org founded during the early 2000s, by a few strong Black/African American and Hispanic/Latino/x/e students at Westminster Choir College, who came together to form an organization that would provide them with a stronger voice, and a way to express their culture within the Westminster community. Now in 2021, we have integrated into the

WCA and Rider community. Our commitment still stands strong. BHA is focused on providing a platform for Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino/x/e, and other ethnic minority groups. We also welcome those who seek to be cultural supporters and allies. This is a place to feel connected to one another and to empower each other by celebrating cultural and ethnic roots. We will always promote cultural diversity, acceptance, and expression. We welcome everyone, regardless of race, skin color, or ethnicity, to join our alliance, and celebrate the beauty of diversity and inclusion! President - William Butron

Who We Are

The Black & Hispanic Alliance is an organization founded in 2000, by a few strong Black and Hispanic students, who came together in alliance to form an organization that would provide them with a stronger voice and a way to express and embrace their culture within the Westminster community. 20 years later, BHA is as strong as ever and our importance and impact as an organization continues to grow. We have now joined the ranks of the Rider community and our commitment still stands strong. BHA is focused on providing a platform for Black, Hispanic, and minority voices, as well as the voices of cultural supporters and allies. Within this group, we understand the hardships and the experiences of being a minority in this world. This is a place to feel connected to one another and to empower each other by embracing cultural and ethnic roots. We will always promote cultural diversity, acceptance, and expression. We welcome everyone, regardless of race, skin color, or ethnicity, to join our mission, become an ally, and celebrate the beauty of diversity and inclusion!
