The Buy From Georgia website and page is the brainchild of Jason Moss the founder and CEO of the Georgia Manufacturing Alliance (GMA). “Individuals and businesses would rather buy locally made goods but they find it almost impossible to identify things that are made in our state, so I set out on a mission to fix this problem” said Jason. “I started by creating the Georgia Manufacturing Directory, to help businesses find each other. The Georgia Manufacturing Directory, which is a printed version of GMA members, achieved Best Seller status on Amazon for the first two editions in multiple categories.”
Pleased with his success of the directory for the business community, Jason changed his focus on the general consumer. Aware of the rapid shift of consumers away from retail shopping Jason researched a wide variety of online options to sell Georgia manufactured goods. “I was thrilled to find a solution to promote Georgia manufacturers through Amazon. In 2014, 2015, 2016, and 2017 Governor Nathan Deal has presented Jason and his leaders with the “Buy From Georgia” Proclamation at the State Capitol. This proclamation is designed to bring more awareness of products manufactured in Georgia.
