As we enter into the Advent season, we remember the peace Jesus brings into our lives. When our clients come to the Co-Op, they are struggling to put food on the table. This Holiday season will you donate non-perishable food items? This simple gift can provide not only nourishment but peace to a family trying to make ends meet. Check out Donate | The Lawrenceville Cooperative Ministry for most needed items and drop off locations.

Thankful Thursday at the Co-Op....

We had some fabulous places help us make sure our clients had a special Thanksgiving. Thanks to Turkey Nation for donating some "birds". McKendree UMC Student and Children ministry for making blessing bags for people to take while we were closed. Synovus and Lendmark Financial for doing food drives to help with our additional needs. And Chick-fil-A Pike Street/Chick-fil-A Sugarloaf & 316 locations for supporting us this November with a food drive and a give back day. We are thankful for all of you!

As we enter into the Advent season, we remember the hope the Messiah brought into our world. One of the most important things we can provide our clients is hope when times are tough. Our new appointment system is enabling us to spend more time with them and let them know they are loved and cared for by not only us but God. This Holiday season, will you pray for our ministry to continue providing for all of our clients' needs - not just food but hope and love?

Just a reminder we will be closed for Thanksgiving Tuesday-Sunday. Enjoy this holiday season with your loved ones.

These last few weeks have been super busy with many of our neighbors losing SNAP benefits or their paychecks with the government shutdown. We have seen a 25% increase in clients and most of these are new clients impacted by these loses. Our community has really stepped up to make sure we can help everyone who walks in the door. If you are able to help out monetarily or by donating food, it will make a difference to so many. Check out www.lawrencevilleco-op.org/donate for more information.

Thanks to McKendree UMC, Dacula United Methodist Church, St. Lawrence Catholic Church, Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 12Stone Church, Lawrenceville Presbyterian Church, First Christian Church of Lawrenceville, and Christ the Lord Lutheran Church for the extra food drives you have done these last few weeks!
