🎉 Celebrating community and legacy! We had an unforgettable, inspiring evening honoring our very own Fred Vereen ,Jr. as he received the prestigious Martin Luther King Award for his incredible service to the Lawrenceville community. We are filled with so much gratitude for everything Fred has done to uplift those around us!

The night was packed with powerful moments, including a moving address by Jamir Anderson. Raised right here in Eggerts Crossing Village, Jamir continues to do wonderful things and makes us all incredibly proud.

We also had the privilege of hearing from keynote speaker Dr. Lerone A. Martin, a professor at Stanford University and the director of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Research and Education Institute. He shared deep insights from his extensive research into the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., and hosted a special book signing after the event.

Thank you to everyone who joined us to wish Fred the best and celebrate the power of community service! 🌟

The world got a little brighter at ECV today! 🌎✨

One of our littlest learners discovered the magic of digital art with RaMalik Illustrations. She chose to draw a beautiful tribute to loving our Earth—and we couldn't be prouder! 🎨

Today a little artist, in her future, maybe an astronaut, geologist, or conservationist. Dreamer today- out of this world 🌎 tomorrow!

That is the heart of ECV: exploring, learning, and nurturing the next generation of leaders. ❤️

Officer Na’air Campbell’s visit was the highlight of our week! 💙Lawrence Township NJ Police Department

Huge thanks to Lawrence Township Police Department for visiting us again. The kids had a blast learning about neighborhood safety and helmet rules—but the real surprise was getting to try on Officer Campbell’s bulletproof vest! 🛡️ (Whew, it sure was heavy!) and… we got to sit in the patrol car! 🚓😎.

Highlights:
👮🏾‍♂️The "Heavy" Vest: The kids couldn't believe how much it weighed!
Police Car Fun: Everyone loved sitting in the driver’s seat! 🚔
Hoops with a Pro: Basketball in the sun with the kids and adults. 🏀☀️

We absolutely adore Officer Campbell and are so grateful for our friendship with the Lawrence Township Police Department!

Get ready for a summer of discovery at Every Child Valued! 🚀

Our summer STEAM Camp is officially open for registration. From June 29th to August 7th, kids will dive into hands-on learning, creative projects, and tons of summer fun at the Fred Vereen Jr. Community Center.

We ensure our campers are fueled up and ready to go with both breakfast and lunch included daily.

Middle and high schoolers explored the engineering concepts of structure and tension by designing, building and testing bridges they made, for their strength—one gallon at a time.

Since each gallon of water weighs about 8 pounds, our student’s bridge holding 6 gallons (roughly 48 pounds) without breaking was a perfect real-world proof of good design. 🤓
