This weekend we held our annual pinewood derby. We joined up with the Girl Scout units in Lawrence Co to find the ultimate pinewood derby champion!
Thank you to all of our volunteers, parents and scouts that helped and participated.
A very special thank you to the City of Lawrenceville, IL for allowing us to use the armory for this massive event and Alvis Music & Sound in Vincennes for the sound system rental!

In November, the St. Francisville Woman's Club and Community Log Cabin raised funds to place wreaths on nearly 600 veteran’s graves in Saint Francisville Cemetery through Wreaths Across America. Cub Scout Pack 245 got to spend time serving their community today clenaing up those wreaths and helping tidy up some stray garbage in the cemetery. Though it was cold, wet, windy, and muddy, the Scouts and their families were happy to help out!

Here's a great chance for anyone interested in scouting to see how fun it can be for free!

Evansville, IN - Halloween FUN - Both indoors and out - will be the theme of the Buffalo Trace Council, Boy Scouts of America's Spook-O-Ree event on Saturday, October 19 at the Eykamp Scout Center!

Elementary-aged children and their families are invited to enjoy games, crafts, a haunted house, range and target activities, candy, and more at this free event from 10am - 2pm (CST). The event will be rain or shine, and costumes are encouraged.
