Listen, your biggest enemy is not the challenge in front of you or the trauma you've been through. It's not even the devil himself.

Your biggest enemy is always the very thoughts you think about yourself that can limit you if they remain unchecked.

When you look at yourself in the mirror, are the first thoughts that come to your mind your past mistakes and shortcomings, or your exciting dreams and aspirations?

See yourself as someone who is worthy of experiencing the best of life and someone who is currently walking into it despite what things look like now.

Change your thought patterns to shift your focus from all that you've left behind and set sail for the promising uncharted waters ahead!

This Friday, we're talking all about self-love and self-care.
One way you can care for your own health and well-being is through activities that allow you to de-stress, such as listening to music!

Just think about it. We all know certain tunes that make us want to dance, cry, reflect, or shout for joy. Music, in general, carries a unique ability to soothe, relax, and connect with your emotions.

Something as simple as playing uplifting music in the background or instrumentals while journaling can help boost your planning and destressing periods as well as your creative flow.

Even sitting outside while closing your eyes and listening to positive tunes can help to refresh your thinking and clear your mind from the stresses of life.

Whether your flow is instrumental, indie, gospel, hip hop, reggae, or any other genre, try putting on an uplifting beat and enjoy your well-deserved downtime and relaxation.

Hey family! We're thrilled to tell you that we're back with another edition of Wellness Wednesdays 🌱 Today's topic is about the healing process, which is of utmost importance to talk about.

See, when you can fully grasp the fact that healing has no time stamp, you'll be able to put your mind at ease and not fall into the unnecessary pressures of life. Go easy on yourself, and know that some instances of healing happen overnight, while others can take weeks, months, or even years to be fully evident.

Whatever your process looks like, we encourage you not to compare your journey with anyone else's. What you've been through can definitely share many similarities with others, and much can be learned from seeing how others overcame, yet your own story is unique.

Know that you are graced to triumph over every challenge that you've been facing. What you've been through could have easily defeated others if they went through it instead, but it's a miracle that you're still standing today.

Be proud of yourself! Know that the goal is not to be better than the person beside you but instead to be even more amazing than the person you were yesterday. Because life is a journey, take it step by step, and celebrate the progress you make every single day.

It's the beginning of the week, and we saw it fit to let you in on the surprise that we're starting to celebrate Mindset Mondays! Ever heard of the scripture, "It's more blessed to give than to receive?" (Acts 20:35). There is such a deep revelation behind it, because this verse is embedded in what we do.

Here at Praying Nurses, our commitment is to care for those who care for others. That's our purpose, and it's rooted in serving others. As you find and walk in your purpose more and more, you'll find that yours is rooted in the same soil.

You see, the God-given gifts that have been placed and planted on the inside of you are not just for you but for those around you. When you begin to use them in order to benefit the lives of others, you'll realize that there are so many blessings and open doors that are attached to this act of faith.

From today, I challenge you to shift the focus from yourself to extending beyond. When you obey God in taking care of the needs of others, then He'll in turn begin taking care of your own needs even more.

Think about what you can give away today. Maybe it's your time, money, talents, wisdom or encouragements. When you give in order to touch and transform someone's life, then you'll experience an even greater transformation in your own!

Happy Easter and Resurrection Sunday from us to you! Here at Praying Nurses, we celebrate the resurrected King, the one who bore our infirmities on the cross of calvary for us.

He is our Great Physician, and His words of life trump every issue that we face from day-to-day. Indeed, we believe in the restorative impact of medicine as a means to assist the natural healing process, yet the ultimate Healer is Jehovah Rapha himself!

As you go about your day today, remember the reason for the season which is Jesus Christ, the one who died and rose again so that we can not only live eternally with Him, but experience healing, joy and restoration now!
