Sweet, sweet Hudson is entering his golden years and he needs a retirement home. This laidback Southern gentleman came to us from a local shelter as an unclaimed stray. Though his frosted face makes him look like an old man, our vet aged him at just eight-ish years based on his teeth and overall condition. Poor Hudson seemed to have been neglected for a long time before he was rescued. He was 10+ pounds underweight and his coat and skin were in dreadful shape due to poor care and neglect. Hudson is now clean, healthy and most importantly — happy. This gentle boy is so humble and unassuming. He loves to rest and relax at your feet but he never demands your attention. He is a low-energy guy who will gladly take a stroll with you but then spend hours sprawled out on the sofa. Hudson has the most perfect leash manners and he is also an excellent passenger in the car. He is housebroken and he’s well past the chewing phase younger dogs are known for. He does have a bit of separation anxiety so he would do best in a home where someone is home most of the time. Hudson gets along fine with the other animals in his foster home and he is patient with kids. This dear fella really is a gem. He would be a fabulous companion for a human retiree or someone who works from home and wants an easy-to-care for office buddy.

Twiggy is five pounds of Toy Poodle perfection. This tiny girl is about three years old and she is super spunky. She may be small in stature but she has loads of personality! Twiggy is friendly and affectionate but she is also highly energetic. She needs physical exercise and mental stimulation in order to thrive. Twiggy has a great time romping and playing with the other small dogs in her foster home. She needs at least one playful four-legged friend in her new home. Due to her delicate nature she needs a home without small children or large dogs who might accidentally hurt her.

Artie got a bad haircut but he is still absolutely adorable. This 6 lb Maltipoo is about three years old and he has the most wonderful temperament. Artie is a lovable little guy who is highly people-oriented. He gets along well with other dogs but he would also be fine as an only furkid. Artie’s housetraining is a work in progress but he’s doing well learning the ropes in his foster home. This little buddy is a precious treasure and he will bring years of joy to his lucky new family.

Winnie is looking for her new family. This cheerful little Terrier mix is so much fun. She is about a year old and she weighs 14 pounds. Winnie is friendly, energetic and loving. Her tail is always wagging and she is eager to participate in whatever is going on around her. Winnie would be a great match for an active person or family. She is small enough to cuddle but sturdy enough to play and take along on adventures. Winnie gets along well with cats but she needs to be the only dog in her new home.

Radar is much smaller in person than she appears in photos. This nine-month-old cutie is almost full grown and she only weighs 30 lbs. We think she’s a Terrier/Heeler mix. Radar is a sweetheart and she is fairly mellow for a puppy. She is a bit shy when she meets new people but it doesn’t take long to win her over. She loves to play with similar-sized dogs and she really perks up when she’s around other dogs. Radar is good on a leash and she’s beginning to learn some basic obedience commands. She’s ready to meet her new humans and become part of a family.

Little Ricky looks like he stuck his snout in a bowl full of Halloween candy and came out with some candy vampire teeth! 🤣 The underbite on this guy is just too cute. Ricky is a Terrier mix and he is about four years old. He is tall and lanky and weighs just 20 lbs. Ricky is a happy-go-lucky boy with no quirks or bad habits to speak of. Not only is he exceptionally adorable but he’s also well-mannered and amicable with everyone. Ricky is going to be an awesome addition to some lucky family.

This plump, scrumptious baby girl is named Apple. She is three months old and she is just fabulous! She is friendly, silly and so adorable. She has been lovingly raised in a foster home. She is off to a great start and ready to meet her forever family. Apple needs at least one other friendly kitty in her new home. If you don’t have one, please adopt one of Apple’s siblings along with her. Fun fact — our adoption fee for sibling pairs is 2-for-1!
