His shelter photo is what made us fall in love.❤️ His name is Hudson and he is the most laidback southern gentleman. This middle-aged Lab mix came to us from a local county shelter as an unclaimed stray. Though his frosted face makes him look like an old man, our vet aged him at just 7-8 years based on his teeth and overall condition. Sweet Hudson seems to have been neglected for a long time. He is 10+ pounds underweight and his coat and skin are in rough shape due to the fleas he arrived with. Hudson is now clean and parasite-free and getting healthier every day. This gentle boy loves to rest and relax. He is a low-energy guy who will gladly take a stroll with you but then spend hours sprawled out on the sofa. Hudson has the most perfect leash manners and he is also an excellent passenger in the car. He is crate-trained and well on his way to being completely housebroken. Hudson gets along well with the other animals in his foster home and we have no reason to believe he wouldn’t be fine with kids. This dear fella really is a gem. Anna and Elsa are an adorable bonded pair of Chihuahua mixes searching for a forever home together. Nine-pound Anna is the mama of the pair—friendly, social and ready to make new friends. She warms up quickly, enjoys gentle affection and loves being near her people. Seven-pound Elsa, her daughter, is more timid and shy at first. She looks to Anna for comfort and confidence, and with a little patience and kindness she blossoms into a loyal, gentle companion. These two adore each other and truly shine as a team. They’re happiest snuggling up together, exploring their surroundings or simply relaxing together in a cozy spot. Calling all fluffy kitten lovers! Troy and Kate are the sweetest little pair and they are looking for a home together. These two are not biological siblings but they have become best friends. Kate came to us from a local shelter after being attacked by a dog. One of her back legs was so badly injured that it had to be amputated. She is a “tri-pawed” now but she gets around perfectly fine and she is not handicapped in any way. Troy came in to our care about a week after Kate and we decided he would make a perfect recovery-buddy for her as she healed from her surgery. They took to each other immediately and now they are inseparable. Troy is extremely outgoing and he never meets a stranger. Kate is a little more reserved but just as sweet as Troy. These beautiful, long-haired fluffballs will need lots of brushing to keep them looking their best. They are wonderful, fun kitties who are only going to get more magnificent as they get older. This precious little treasure is ready for her forever home. Goldie is eleven weeks old and she has been lovingly prepared to join her new family. This sparkly angel is named after metal but she is fluffy, soft and as sweet as can be. She loves playtime, naps and cuddles. Whether chasing toys, wrestling with her siblings or curling up in your lap, Gold is guaranteed to bring joy and laughter to her new humans. Raised with tender loving care, this adorable baby girl is friendly, curious, and ready to become a cherished member of her new family. She would love to be adopted with one of her siblings if possible (we always offer siblings 2-for-1). She would also be a perfect companions for the cat(s) you already have at home.

Whiskey is a sweet, shy little guy who needs a loving home. This scruffy Terrier mix is about one year old and he weighs 12 pounds. Whiskey came to us from a local shelter. He had clearly spent a lot of time outdoors because his coat was stained with red clay. Whiskey has spent the last few weeks in a foster home where he is steadily gaining confidence. He now readily approaches his foster mom seeking her attention and affection. Whiskey gets along well with other dogs and cats. He is crate-trained and he’s doing well learning how to walk on a leash. This timid boy will require patience as he builds rapport and trust but the payoff will be worth the wait.
