Cadets had their bi-weekly meeting/training tonight. Had a great turnout of members. Cadets went over the basics of PPE and how to properly prepare your gear for any call.

Good afternoon, We are the Anderson county fire protection district jr firefighters. This program has been established since 2015 and we thought it was time to create a page to keep the public informed and also let young adults 15-17 know about a wonderful opportunity to get on the job experience for a promising career. What is the acpfd Jr firefighter program? We are a group of individuals 15-17 that are committed to serving the people of Anderson county and training young men and women to become certified firefighters when they turn 18. The program is involved with the fire department primarily, but we also do public events (parades, community events, etc.) and serve the community in many different ways.
