Last week, our 7th and 8th grade students completed a deeply meaningful journey through our partnership with the Holocaust Survivors Program at the The Marion and Aaron Gural JCC.

Throughout the year, students built relationships with survivors through conversations, reflection, art, music, and shared traditions centered on themes of resilience, gratitude, hope, and legacy. More than learning history, our students had the rare privilege of sitting beside those who lived it — listening to their stories and carrying forward their memories.

At the program’s culmination, students and survivors exchanged reflections and received commemorative memory books filled with shared messages, values, and hopes for the future — reminders that remembrance is living, personal, and enduring.

We are profoundly grateful to the survivors, educators, and the Marion & Aaron Gural JCC for making this experience possible. Our students now carry these stories, lessons, and light forward into the next generation.

Brandeis celebrated Kabbalat HaTorah with so many meaningful and exciting activities! From making delicious dairy desserts, hosting beautiful meals and creating beautiful fruit baskets and floral headwear, to the incredible experience of Rabbi Bain showing each student the letters of their name in a beautiful Navi scroll, the day was filled with Torah, creativity, and joy.

Wishing all of our Brandeis families a Chag Shavuot Sameach! 🌸📖🍰

Two days. Countless laughs. Zero inside voices. 💙✨

Our 5th & 6th grade adventure was one for the books! From standing in history at Touro Synagogue, exploring the grandeur of The Breakers in Newport, and conquering challenges at Level99, to ending the night with city lights and unforgettable views from the top of the Prudential Center — every moment was packed with excitement.

Day two brought us straight into history as we tossed tea overboard at the Boston Tea Party experience, got wonderfully messy making science come alive at Sloomoo Slime Institute, and quacked our way through the city on a Boston Duck Tour. 🦆🫖🧪

Most importantly, this trip was filled with incredible students, nonstop smiles, growing friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. Watching these kids learn, laugh, and experience new adventures together was truly something special.

Now excuse us while we recover from approximately 47,000 steps, unlimited slime, and enough excitement to last until summer break. 😂❤️

What an incredible morning at our annual Brandeis 5K! 🎉🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

This year, we were thrilled to welcome more than 130 runners for a joyful, energetic event filled with community spirit, smiles, and perfect weather from start to finish ☀️

This year’s race was especially meaningful as we dedicated our finish line in memory of Mr. Reuben Maron, former Administrative Director, whose legacy continues to inspire our community every day. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who ran, cheered, volunteered, and helped make this special tradition such a success. We can’t wait to do it all again next year!
