🍞 The federal shutdown will leave approximately 188,000 Kansans without access to SNAP benefits next month, cutting off food assistance for individuals and families of all kinds who already live on the edge.
When food access collapses, housing security follows. The KASH Housing Fund exists to help close that gap offering $300 in rapid, no-questions-asked aid to keep people in our community housed and stable through this crisis.
If you or someone you know is affected, visit kssocialhousing.org or the link in our bio to request mutual aid.
The KASH Housing Fund is a community project stewarded by the Kansas Association for Social Housing. It prioritizes outreach to trans and gender-nonconforming people experiencing housing insecurity, while remaining open to anyone in urgent need who meets eligibility requirements.
KASH is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit; all donations are deductible to the extent allowed by law.
