Fighting to keep innocent people behind bars while quietly pocketing funds you’ve solicited to free innocent people is some crazy work. 💯

On April 4, 2004, Alonzo Brooks was supposed to return to his mother’s house and continue living his life. Instead, Alonzo was brutally murdered by a group of men related to prominent Linn County officials. Phone calls were placed from the farm to the prominent officials as Alonzo’s lifeless body started to enter the early stages of rigor mortis and THE COVER-UP WAS ON!

The local Sheriff and other prominent Linn County officials were AT THE FARM in the early morning hours of April 4, 2004. Law enforcement was complicit in coordinating the removal of Alonzo’s body. Before the sun came up, Alonzo’s lifeless body was dumped into a freezer to limit decomposition of his body. When Alonzo’s family called to report him missing later that morning, the police were ABSOLUTELY AWARE of the murder but told the family they couldn’t report Alonzo missing.

Alonzo’s family was not satisfied with that information so they drove to Linn County to conduct their own search. They were pulled over by the police and told they would be arrested if they tried to search. This was done because the police had to make sure all traces of the brutal murder had been erased before allowing the family anywhere near the crime scene.

The FBI claimed they were “reopening the case” in 2020 but that was a ruse. Law enforcement has known every detail of Alonzo Brooks murder since the early morning hours of April 4, 2004. And this is not my opinion. This is facts. These facts are all contained in an official police recording that is currently in the possession of the Linn County Sheriff’s Office, the Linn County Attorney, multiple Linn County officials (because this very sensitive recording was flagrantly passed around town), and more.

One of the killers is your local doctor. At least one of them has killed again. And they ALL hope and pray this is just goes away.

Alonzo Brooks has waited 22 years for justice. Isn’t that long enough?

On April 3, 2004, Alonzo Brooks left his home in Gardner where he lived with his mother to attend a party in Linn County, Kansas. His mother never spoke to him again.

In the early morning hours, Alonzo was attacked and murdered by a group of local men who were deeply racist, known to commit hate crimes, and angry that a white girl at the party had been spending time with Alonzo.

Law enforcement actively covered up this crime and nearly 22 years later not a single person has ever been held accountable. But that’s about to change. In Kansas, we have a statute that allows a citizen to collect signatures and empanel THEIR OWN GRAND JURY to investigate ANY CRIME. So I have begun the process of empaneling a grand jury to bring charges!

After gathering less than 200 signed petitions and submitting them to the chief judge, the district court will be required to empanel my grand jury to investigate this hate crime murder. I will then start the process of presenting my case to the grand jury. After a nearly decades long investigation, my case is airtight. It’s not hard to prosecute people who think they’re protected.

In this case, the responsible parties have bragged loudly and openly about Alonzo’s horrific murder to anyone who would listen for the last 22 years. That’s what you can do when powerful people are protecting you. But now, all of those people will be called to testify in front of a grand jury.

There are recorded confessions. Written confessions. Confessions on social media. Group text confessions. Public confessions. Confessions to the police. AND MUCH MORE.

200 signatures before the 22-year anniversary on April 3, 2026, is my goal. Please help me by sharing this far and wide. Please tell people they can reach out to me directly with additional information they have about this case. My cell number is on the grand jury petition. And finally, if you are from Linn County, please print and sign the petition and return it to me. My email is [email protected]. I have placed a printable version in the comments.

22 years is way too long. Let’s make 2026 the year Alonzo Brooks and his killers get the justice they both deserve. 💯
