We have another graduate from our Infant and Toddler Program at LHS!! 🎓💙

We recently started a new tradition at TCG to celebrate our toddlers as they transition from our Infant and Toddler Program. These special moments give families a chance to cherish the memories of their child’s earliest years with us.

Today, we celebrated one of our little graduates as she begins her next adventure in our LEAP Program! This graduate holds a special place in our hearts because she has been with us since she was a newborn. We are so proud of her and excited to watch her continue to learn, grow, and thrive!

🎉Congratulations to this week’s TCG Employee Spotlight, Kayla Julien! As an Operations Manager for the past two years, Kayla has fostered a welcoming and supportive environment for our staff, families, and the children we serve at TCG.

Kayla feels a strong connection to our mission because it reflects the values that matter most to her: family, respect, and supporting one another. She believes that when families feel welcomed and supported, children are better positioned to thrive. That’s exactly what she strives to create at TCG every day.

We are so thankful for all that you do, Kayla!

💙 The Community Group was proud to be in Washington, D.C., for Hill Day as part of the National Head Start Association’s Fall Leadership Institute! Alongside fellow Head Start leaders, we met with Senators Edward J. Markey and Elizabeth Warren, as well as a staff member from Representative Lori Trahan’s office, to advocate for the importance of Head Start in Massachusetts and across the nation.

Our Early Head Start Child Care Partnership Program at The Community Group serves about 117 families and 128 children annually, the majority of whom are dual language learners. Through partnerships with 10 Family Child Care (FCC) providers and two center-based sites, our EHS Partnership Program supports teacher development, children’s growth, and positive family outcomes.

A huge thank you to Senators Edward J. Markey and U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren for meeting with us and for their continued support of Head Start and the children and families we serve across Massachusetts!

Our Infant & Toddler Program at LHS recently hosted a Toddler Room Parent Event! It was a wonderful and very successful classroom event, with almost all of our parents joining us! 💙

Parents participated in an “All About Me” activity with their children. We were so happy to see the classroom filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement as the children enjoyed this special time with their families.

Our educators did an amazing job engaging with parents and keeping them informed about their child’s growth and development in the classroom. It was a wonderful opportunity to help parents feel included and connected to their child’s learning!

A look back at our Open House!

Parents enjoyed a special activity with their children while getting a glimpse into all that our Early Learning Center has to offer. We loved welcoming families and sharing a little bit of what makes our program so special!

Thank you to everyone who joined us! 💛
