Today our very own Treasurer Warrington attended a meeting at Jacobo Zobel Memorial Lodge No. 202 in Makati, Philippines for the second year in a row! Familiar faces and new faces and a DDGM was also present. Great Brotherhood worldwide!

Our very own Treasurer W. Warrington visited the 107th Anniversary of Mount Mainam Masonic Lodge no. 49 in Naic, Cavite, Philippines today along with visiting their beautiful lodge yesterday! Such great hospitality and Brotherhood all around the world!

At our stated meeting night Thursday March 12, we presented a donation of $500 to Robert Silipigni for the American Cancer Society Relay For Life! We thank “Bob” Silipigni for his many years of service in raising money for this great cause! The Relay For Life event has been moved up this year and will be April 18th at Rock Chalk Park.

This morning Acacia #9 donated our NINTH year annual $5000 contribution to Peaslee Tech - a great local Lawrence trade school that is continually adding programs and resources - like aviation training!

Peaslee Tech is a technical school providing career training in skilled trades, healthcare, and transportation, with a focus on workforce development for the local community. It offers programs like automotive, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and various certifications, often in partnership with local industry and colleges, and is known for its apprenticeship programs.

Acacia #9 had a pretty eventful Annual Communication last night! Not only did we elect and install 2026 Officers jointly with Lawrence Lodge #6, but also presented a 25 year certificate and pin to our 2026 W.M. Bob Amyx’s son Bill, presented a Grand Lodge special award to our 2025 W.M. Santino Williams for the ritual competition, and the Acacia #9 Mason of the Year Award to Brother Ben Allen!

We thank the Brothers from other Lodges who came to assist in the installation: Wyandotte #3 & Orient-Topeka Lodge #17.
