Your local firefighters want to thank everyone for the tremendous support this year! Because of your donations we were able to deliver over 60 coats to children in need. Thank you Lawrence Head Start for allowing us to disrupt part of your day with this delivery and truck tour! Thank you Station 1, Y shift for helping with a truck tour and sizing coats!

You have done it again! Because of your amazing outpouring of support we continue to give out new coats to community children in need. It makes us proud to be a resource for the community. Attached are just a few photos of the coat delivery. Thank you to the on duty crew for helping with delivery and fitting.

We are humbled by the generosity of our community. Thanks again to Jess Appodaca the GM of Freddy’s for going above and beyond to help with the pancake feed. Freddy’s donated the supplies and restaurant for our fundraiser.

Let me start with, Thank You! In 4 short hours we collected over $2500! I am so thankful for our community and those who choose to serve others. Just last week we used funds collected to distribute coats to kiddos in the community. Every dollar goes right back to our Douglas County community.

It’s time again for our annual Pancake Feed. Our annual pancake feed is one of our major fundraising events. The funds raised continue to support those in and around Lawrence. We would like to again thank Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers. They have graciously offered up their resturant and all the supplies in support of the Foundation.
We will open the doors at 6am on December 10th and serve fresh hot pancakes, sausage or bacon, juice and coffee.

THANK YOU UPLIFT

Our Round Up Campaign ended last Wednesday and we couldn't be happier with the results! Uplift Coffee Co partnered with our foundation to raise money so we can support local charities. Uplift helped us raise over $850!

Thank you Uplift and the Douglas County community! We are thankful for your support and look forward to putting this money to good use!
