Mark your calendars for the ReUse & ReCycle Donation Drive on Saturday, September 19 from 10am - 1pm - just part of our month long celebration of Second Hand September!

Just drive through our back parking lot and we'll collect your donations of homegoods, metal, children's items, and books! Start collecting your new or gently used items for reuse/resale and your scrap metal for recycling now. Then drop them off on September 19!

New Executive Director Named

Essex County Habitat for Humanity is pleased to welcome Kevin Moore as our new Executive Director. Bringing nearly two decades of Habitat for Humanity leadership experience, Kevin joins us with a deep commitment to expanding affordable homeownership opportunities and strengthening communities. Most recently, he served as Chief Operating Officer for Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County, where he led construction, family services, and ReStore operations. Kevin is excited to build on Essex County Habitat’s strong foundation and work alongside volunteers, donors, municipalities, and community partners to build and preserve more affordable homes throughout the region. Kevin’s first day will be September 1st.
