Jayhawk QUWF We are a non-profit 501(c)(3) wildlife organization formed to provide a strong local source of habitat focus on quail and upland wildlife and youth events.

The Jayhawk Chapter of the Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation started in Lawrence, KS in 1985 originally as Quail Unlimited. When the QU organization dissolved in 2008, we joined the Quail and Upland Wildlife Federation (QUWF). Funds raised for our chapter go directly to wildlife conservation in Kansas and youth outdoor activities such as dove hunting and pheasant hunting. Our local chapter in L

awrence, KS promotes wildlife habitat conservation and youth efforts. Specifically, we help fund the Kansas Quail Initiative, the Kansas City Crushers (a youth sporting clay organization), the Hunter Education program, and put on a youth dove hunt and a youth pheasant hunt. Our main fund raising event is the annual banquet usually held in September or October. Our next banquet will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2016.
