Nursing Department Assistant
Looking to make a real difference in people’s lives? We’re seeking a compassionate, organized Nursing Department Assistant to join our team.
What you’ll do:
• Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, weight, and height
• Greet patients, answer phone calls, and schedule appointments efficiently
• Monitor, sort, and prioritize inbound fax and medical records
• Maintain accurate Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems by scanning and filing external documentation into the correct patient files according to HIPAA guidelines
• Communicate effectively with Spanish and English-speaking participants, caregivers, and providers
What we’re looking for:
• Fluent in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in healthcare
• Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented with strong follow-up skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Medical Assistant Certificate or Certified Nurse Assistant Certificate (preferred but not required)
