The MILL - Maker Innovation Lab Lawrence The MILL – Maker Innovation Lab Lawrence is a member-based, economic and community development focused “Maker Space” in Lawrence’s historic Everett Mills

The time is ripe for a Makers Space in Lawrence. Over the past five years an increase in small, custom based manufacturing has been attracted to the city’s mills and their historical significance. The MILL – Maker Innovation Lab Lawrence is a member-based, economic and community development focused “Maker Space” based in the historic Everett Mills building, which has hosted continuous manufacturing for over 100 years. The MILL intends to foster innovative ideas to incubate the region’s next generation of manufacturing. The MILL will provide a collaborative environment with shared materials, equipment and access to mentors and advisors in disciplines such as woodworking, metalworking, textiles, printmaking and print publishing, robotics/electronics and motion capture technologies.
