With your purchase, we encourage you and your family to participate in your own TJ5K to once again celebrate the impact that Thomas John's life has had on so many children and families.

We can’t wait to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the TJ5K + Family Fun Run with you in just over 24 hours!

Due to the expected colder temperatures, we have moved the pre and post race festivities indoors. Plan on joining us as early as 8am for give-aways, hot drinks from Zeb’s, breakfast burritos, and biscuits and gravy. Best of all, this is all available to you at no charge! In fact, if you just want to stay warm and hang out inside the entire time you are more than welcome to do so.

We’re looking forward to celebrating together at the 10th annual TJ5K!

In case you missed the race day email, here are the details for Saturday!

WHEN:
Saturday, November 19
Race Day Registration & Packet Pickup - 7:45-8:45 am
Pre-race coffee, food, and giveaways start @ 8am
Pre-race instructions: 8:45am
Start of Race: 9 am
1-Mile run/walk starts at 9:00; 5K to follow shortly after start of 1-mile

WHERE:
1470 N 1000 Road, Lawrence

PACKET PICKUP:
Although not required, we highly recommend that you pick up your race packet (bib, timing chip, t-shirt, etc.) at the following locations on these dates and times.

Wednesday, November 16 - 5-7 pm
First Nazarene Church, 1470 N 1000 Road,
Lawrence (race location)
Thursday, November 17 - 5-7 pm
Eudora High School, 2203 Church Street
Drive-through pick-up in the east parking lot close to Church Street. LOOK FOR THE TJ5K SIGN!

RACE DAY:
Zeb’s Coffee will be serving free hot drinks!
Breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy along with our normal post-race snacks will be provided for FREE!
Please plan to stay for our medal ceremony immediately following the finish of the 5K!

RACE COURSE:
Keep in mind that this is a trail run. We’re putting significant effort into getting the trail ready, but you’ll want to come prepared for uneven terrain and muddy areas (depending on the weather this week).
